We kicked off our first Youthworks Entrepreneurship Academy (YEA) class in June with Bmore Empowered Inc! This exciting new initiative provided 15 young women YouthWorkers with invaluable mentorship and guidance from inspiring Baltimore women entrepreneurs. Throughout the two-week camp, these young women gained essential skills and confidence to thrive in the business world. The program culminated in an exhilarating pitch contest, where each group presented their innovative business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. It was an incredible event that showcased the talent and creativity of our participants. A huge thank you to Bmore Empowered, our dedicated team for making this expansion of YouthWorks a reality, and our brilliant young participants for their hard work and impressive performances. We look forward to watching YEA grow and flourish in the coming years!
