Even though the more "flexible/cool/high-tech" Bluetooth Low Energy Audio protocol, that even includes broadcasting capabilities, is now (technically) available, the implementation of the "old/boring/low-tech" loop systems is continuing. Latest example: 3000 Taxis in the Spanish capital Madrid. The reason seems obvious: The installed base of BT LE Audio-compatible hearing aids is close to... drum-roll... nil... On the other hand, hearing aids with Telecoil have been sold for many, many years...
