Rossi Companies Makes Community Impact with Donation INDIANAPOLIS - Jan. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- Indianapolis, IN 01/20/24 The Rossi Companies Inc. a premier multi service contractor based in Indianapolis made a generous donation of $50,000.00 to the Catholic Charities with the understanding that the proceeds were to be distributed for the less fortunate in both Indianapolis, and Louisville conversely for people that are homeless and needing provisions for shelter and aide during this time of extreme cold weather. We have very close ties to the Catholic Church, and feel it's both our obligation and duty to give back to communities when people are struggling just eat and find shelter, more so when temperatures have been lingering in the single digits, compounded by snowfall. With the many partnerships that we have developed over the years, we felt compelled to set a precedent as a partner that people can relate to, and are proud of as well. In the final analysis, we feel that helping our needing members in the community is both profitable and bottomline... We will continue to monitor our surroundings as the days progress, and lend any further help that may be needed accordingly. rossicompanies.com Contact Corporate Communications Rossi Companies Inc. rossicompanies.com ***@rossicompanies.com End Source : Lisa Capazelli Email : ***@rossicompanies.com Listed Under- Tags : Corporate Giving, Community Help, Community Outreach Industry : Construction, Business, Engineering Location : Indianapolis - Indiana - United States

We work to dismantle the systemic barriers to prosperity through the creation and implementation of collaborative community solutions. This means we fight wealth inequality in Communities of Color and other vulberable populations, with the help of partners, donors, volunteers, and local community members just like you. We have internal programs like: 📲 2-1-1. A 24/7 hotline connecting families to non-medical emergency resources. 📑 Free Tax Preparation, which puts money back into the pockets of local families at no cost to them. 🤝 Workplace Giving, which raises unrestricted funds so that we can give directly where funds are needed most We also support our partners so that they can offer helpful programs- everything from spreading emergency prepardness knowledge, to coaching people to stop smoking, to providing direct aid to farm workers. None of this would be possible without the people of Fresno and Madera who donate, volunteer, and/or partner with us. Our goal is to create long-lasting change through real solutions. We help our community with the help of our community. That’s what it means to Live United 🤝

🌟 Good News Update from Starfish Health and Wellbeing Centre in Stockton!📣 🖥️A few months ago, they received all-in-one PCs from furbdIT, and Peter shared the positive impact on their invaluable services. 👨Here’s what Peter had to say; “You kindly donated some wonderful computers with large screens, and we use them is three ways: 🎥1. Used on our community late-night support group 'Movie Night' to help power the speakers linked to the projector. 🏡2. For volunteers who come in from all over Teesside to gain Admin and Health and Safety work experience. This has enabled us to have an ICT suite in Starfish, and this aids the training we carry out and provides access to our students and people suffering from well-being issues or low confidence. 3. We use a PC in reception for Starfish, which allows people to bid for properties due to the phones, they have not been able to load up screens properly to apply for housing. The new PCs are modern and work brilliantly. We also use that PC to do advocacy work 1-1, helping people write letters to utility companies, NHS providers etc. This dramatically helps the quality of life and reduces the stress of daily living. Thanks again for the ICT donation; the impact something like this has in the field we are in for vulnerable families and young people finding life hard is immeasurable!” 🤝We love to share these stories with you so you can see the impact your donations are having right now in Teesside. Thank you to all who have donated. We couldn't support organisations like Starfish without you choosing furbdIT for your IT disposal needs. 🌍🌐If you want to become more sustainable, reduce your carbon footprint, and at the same time support local communities, then please get in touch 👉 ask@furbdit.org.uk The National Lottery Community Fund Tees Valley Combined Authority Thirteen Group #GoodNewsUpdate #CommunityImpact #DigitalEmpowerment #SustainableTech #ReduceCarbonFootprint #TechForGood #TeessideCommunity #CharitySupport #EmpowerThroughTech #TechDonations #Circulareconomy #DigitalInclusion

Good morning all, On December 1st, The Affordability Project formally launched the final phase of the "Champions" campaign to raise $4 million and start construction on our inaugural project at 5250 3rd Street. These dollars fund affordable homes for teachers, nurses, first responders, small business owners and their employees, and nonprofit workers. These dollars fund the livelihood of the people who ensure San Francisco's civic and economic viability. Please become a Champion. Visit our website (https://lnkd.in/gUtcEXNx) or contact me directly to discuss making a gift in greater detail. You all know I believe The Affordability Project's mission is critical to our society. Every metropolitan area needs affordable housing for its most essential, middle-income workers. These are the people who teach, heal, serve, protect, and help deliver basic services for their community. We need to be their Champion and make sure they also can call the community they serve home. You've heard enough from me, it is time you hear from others. This campaign highlights some of The Affordability Project's Champions who believe in and support the mission coming to fruition. Keep an eye out in the coming days. Finally--THANK YOU to all of our Champions! You help blaze a new, altruistic path to delivering affordable, workforce housing--100% not for profit, without public funds, and powered by pure, philanthropic donations from generous people who want to give back to our essential workers. Please consider being as generous as you are able. Be A Champion! There are great things ahead. Onward we go.

I don't pretend to be an expert on this, but this is one of the many reasons I love working at Feather Down Farms. As a society, we're witnessing the rise of screen addiction among our children, I know we are as a family. Recent studies have shown that prolonged exposure to screens can lead to issues like sleep disturbances, obesity, poor academic performance, and even developmental delays. 😔 Here are a few steps I have started to try and implement in our house: 📺 Set Screen Time Limits: Establish clear guidelines for screen time and stick to them. We encourage outdoor activities, reading, and imaginative play as alternatives. 🤳 Lead by Example: My children often mimic my behaviour so I am conscious of my screen time and leave my phone in other rooms of the house to remove the temptation for me to scroll or respond to messages 💻 Create Tech-Free Zones: Designated areas in our home where screens are not allowed, such as our dining table or the kids' bedrooms, to promote quality family time. 🏕️ Enjoy a Feather Down weekend often #ScreenTime #ChildHealth #DigitalWellBeing #ParentingTips #Education #HealthyHabits
In today's fast-paced digital age, it's easy for children to become glued to screens, losing touch with the wonders of the natural world. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, there lies a treasure trove of benefits awaiting our children - the great outdoors. 🌱 Whether you live in a busy city or quiet suburbia, the benefits of enjoying the great outdoors span beyond just fresh air and sunshine. ☀️ In our partnership blog with Go Beyond charity, we unveil the multitude of benefits for children when they head into the great outdoors. ➡ https://lnkd.in/e-jQvN_m
