LinkedIn Top Voice - Journalism, Public Administration, Content Strategy and Web Content | Communications Enthusiast | Business Journalist, Public Relations and Marketing | ex-PTI, Edelman, Good Glamm Group
It’s a partnership that definitely takes two to tango. Empaths like us understand, but still some senior journalists should be empathetic to PRs.
I recently heard a young journalist at a newswire is turning into a snob, ticking her fingers to have PR’s help her with a plate of food.
These same pricks turn super sweet to CEOs and companies for perks like junkets and gifts. They are compromised journalists in my book of definitions.
That’s not what consultants are for. They are a bridge between journalists and CEOs. They deserve that much respect. You have work, and so do they. Pick yourself up and get that plate of food!
I blame the editors and seniors in her team for rearing a snoot.
CEOs don’t have time, journalists don’t have patience. PRs are the AIs you need for beautiful coverage.
I’ve been a PR, brand manager and journalist. So I know what it takes to be on each side of the table. And hands down, a PR works more than a journalist. I have no shame in saying that. PRs are excellent reminders, Excel ninjas, PPT maestros and even therapists!
I don’t care if these so called certificators of journalism don’t accept me as part of their clan. There was a lack in coverage that they hired me.
Shouting out to all my PR friends - keep the bandwagon going, and let nobody dim your light. You are awesome! Some of you are better reporters and without the byline.
I know so many pricks in the industry who get articles written by PRs and publish it as theirs. I so wish to name and shame them.
They now anchor shows for a nascent business channel of a big news corporation in India. A comms shared the painful ordeal of this deceit.
These folks are sleazes who make “overnight reporters”. Disgrace to the industry.
And journalists, I know deep down all of you want to be a comms person for the pay, and think that you can have some chill. So please be kind, because one day you will be on other side of the table and a snooty PR will do to you what you once did to an innocent PR. Some PRs are ex-journalists, and they know the shift because of haughty reporters.
Don’t be entitled. You can quickly fall off your cloud castle.

Celebrating PR Day every day, and recognising the never ending efforts you guys put in to keep us connected. Immense respect for all that you do, and thank you for sticking with us through every twist and turn.
Fortunately, things are getting better in the industry now. It's more about teamwork, and to ensure the audience gets informed. And also about mutual understanding and respect - that's what makes the magic happen.
Again, a lot of gratitude for your patience, clear info, and willingness to help. Makes my job (and hopefully the news!) way better!
Keep up the magic, guys! Here's to a long-lasting partnership :)
(And, apologies for missing calls, and messages :P)
We're going to go ahead and bend the rules a bit on National Black Cat Appreciation Day to include the beautiful tuxedo cats. If you happen to be at the Intech MKT offices, and you're lucky, you might Cath a glimpse of the tiny little Hermione cat.
Hermione likes to think of herself as an integral part of the team, and who are we to disagree? Her favorite hobbies include:
- stealing Nick's chair
- putting Nick in his place
Have a great day!

✓ Connect with valuable individuals who share my interests.
✓ Foster strong relationships built on mutual respect and collaboration.
✓ And lastly, crush my goals and make meaningful progress.
This isn't my first time writing out goals for a challenge, let's just say I'm more determined than ever to make it count.
So, join me on this journey, and let's make this work.

🎉 Exciting Times at Arriba Labs : Celebrating My First Corporate Independence Day!
I want to share how my first celebration at Arriba labs made me feel closer to my colleagues. It's not just a workplace; it's a family that cares.🤝
From day one, Arriba labs felt welcoming. This Independence Day, we made it even better. Our office looked colorful with patriotic decorations, like a big celebration. 🎨🎈
We played games that made us laugh and work together. These moments brought us closer.
What amazed me was how well we work together. Arriba's culture is amazing. We talk openly, respect each other, and come up with great ideas as a team. This makes our work better.
"In celebrating independence, we embrace unity; in fostering diversity, we fuel innovation. At Arriba labs, we are not just a team; we are a tapestry of dreams weaving our path to success. Happy Independence Day!"

The Marmomac fair gives answers and the luck to see people more accurately, how their ways are presented. I know a few points I make from my observation. Choose the company carefully, this decision will depend on you if you quality, 90% and all your happiness or misery, a percentage of success in any job is based on your ability how you treat people, that you are Company Director, customer, and finally do not judge companies that do not have the IMPORTANT NAME, but also they who have a value

Ever heard of Chesterton's Fence? 🤔
It's a concept shared by Wade Foster, reminding us not to dismantle a fence without understanding why it was erected.
In the dynamic world of decision-making, I've found this principle to be a guiding light. Before diving into change, it's crucial to comprehend the context and reasons behind existing structures.
🔍 Why Ask Questions?
In my approach to new projects, I'm a firm believer in asking questions—a lot of them, and then sense check with data and clarifying with different people who holds different perspectives of the puzzle.
This helps to provide a holistic understanding for me before considering making any changes.
