Outtakes and lessons learned from this summery internship: This summer Internship at Aruza Marketing had its ups and downs, but overall I’ve learned a lot from this experience and I’m truly for Aruza having me out to support the brand. - Life doesn’t respond to wants - Be intentional about what you do everyday - First Impressions matter Communicating with potential customers door to door isn’t just speaking to them face to face, it’s a transfer of emotion and certainty. Establishing these 3 strategies in my mindset really helped my speech organization and tone towards the customer. Introduction and presentation of what your offering is critical towards how comfortable you can make the customer feel, getting only one chance at this can be nerve racking and too much to handle but thankfully, the help from some friends and team leads I was able to efficiently structure and control my pitch. Overall, thanks for a great summer and I hope all my fellow partners succeed for next year!!

Seven years ago this day, three young interns worked with a vibrant team to understand the nuances of writing for customers. Each day was a new challenge, and each client brief, a new story. We struggled. But we evolved too. This photo was taken on the last day of our internship when we threw a party for the whole team. My internship was an extensive period of learning, unlearning and relearning. I can proudly say that those days reshaped my approach to work. Seen together are Abid Omar (as always, he was doing awesome stuff as a GenZ marketer), and my classmates Mahroof K and Saliha.
