The ideal configuration for a center-channel is a three-way topology. Although I've heard a number of center-channels with a tweeter flanked by two midrange-woofers in a horizontal arrangement, I've not heard a convincing one. The Magico ACC is quite effective. It is also a very wide-bandwidth design capable of tracking the dynamics in a film soundtrack. Check it out if you can. #Magico
