So much happening around "that movie" at the moment. I loved seeing this in Screen Daily this morning "Cinema operators report advance bookings are ahead of ‘No Time To Die’." And it encouraged me to post here. You see, we've been talking to clients about "that movie" and then “those movies, on that day” for over a year and it’s exactly what was behind my quote below. But with so many brand associations and promotions happening it's really interesting to look at engagement vs investment. Look deeper at the brands who are jumping, and who are giving. Some brands are jumping in.. LOOK!! my product, next to, THAT film... cool, huh!?!. Not really (sorry... not really) Some others are "giving".. adding genuine content, products, information & ideas to fuel fans conversations. Making a big thing bigger, MASSIVE even. Now that IS cool. Really. And if you've spent any time with me over the past ten years you'd have heard me banging on about that. Cinema IS a key driver of culture and that is big news for brands. But remember…the films are big but the conversations are MASSIVE. How can you get into that? Is what you are doing really worth talking about?
"Cinema is still a huge cultural influencer and brands want to be part of that..." Great to see our very own David Kapur quoted in the Sunday Times today. A timely piece from Lucy Tobin, where industry pioneers like George Wood from THE LUNA CINEMA LIMITED, Fabien Riggall from Secret Cinema, Daniel Broch and Alex Scrimgeour from Everyman Media Group PLC, and Tom Lionetti-Maguire from Little Lion Entertainment were highlighted for their groundbreaking contributions to the film industry. More of this pls! #cinema #film #entertinament #brandpartnerships

The 2nd National Cinema Day is today (8/27). Movies at over 3,000 theaters across the country are $4 all day. Genius marketing move by theater owners to get people back into the theaters and the timing, with two blockbusters and 4 new openings couldn't be better. I discuss the impact for theater owners and the value for customers on this week's KPBS Friday Business Report: https://lnkd.in/gM-AhZZJ. #marketing #KPBS

Currently, tickets cost nearly Rs 350-400 in India Movie theaters can host special screenings, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, trivia nights, costume contests, and other activities that encourage participation and interaction among the audience and the filmmakers. Cinemas can increase footfall by focusing on important factors that influence moviegoers' preferences. How can movie theatres attract more viewers? #LIPostingChallenge #LinkedInNewsIndia 1. Affordable Pricing Solutions: Unemployment has gone up, lowering the cost on tickets and food will get me inside the theater. 2. Make better movies. Find real actors who can actually act. 3. Temperature Control: Adjustable heating and cooling options in individual theaters, as well as providing blankets or shawls for those who prefer a warmer environment. 4. Shorter runtime films, curated film festivals or marathons, and special screenings of classic or cult films.

"Taylor Swift's Era Tour on film is coming to a theatre near you starting October 13th. 🔥 YES. This is a great way to get people to go to the theatre." Global Power Women have entered the advertising marketing for media, movies, and other sectors as social-political profitable language, by naked bodies, dance, music and singing, Is an overused/overpriced cycle of restricted competition. Eastern Chinese media like TikTok and others of the nation's media have turned their media in the same tone, with the help of LGBTQ false vision. In conclusion, Powering women with this type of artificial advertising of social values of slavery and naked body of human desires, every woman should compete in its cycles and appearance make family style broken and the global divorce rate rise from %50-90 percent and kids live under social government regulations. Theatre is making better women's marketing since competition is limited to a restricted region's market. overpriced/overused is always linked with restricted competition. 🤣 🖌 🔎 💔 ✍
Taylor Swift's Era Tour on film is coming to a theater near you starting October 13th. 🔥 YES. This is a great way to get people to go to the theater. Since going on sale this morning at 7:15A CT, Deadline Hollywood posted an article at around 1P ET that ticket sales are already over $10M from their sources https://lnkd.in/esvXC55N. Did I also buy 2? Yes. Yes, I did. I've got just the friendship bracelet for this occasion. Now, keep it going. There are so many ancillary offerings theaters could offer around this...like for example, how about Taylor film merch? I did some digging to see what theaters have been up to in movie merch and it looks like AMC Theatres have been doing some testing with further rollout plans to come (https://lnkd.in/e7SmfgjT) and Cinemark has their own online destination as well (https://lnkd.in/ef59PSe9) with Wanda Gierhart Fearing, Cinemark's Chief Marketing and Content Officer as the first person I've heard refer to their real estate like I think they should in that theater lobbies should match the "experience economy." YES. Also, Cinemark has been bundling a ticket with merch. Smart. Plus, screens are using QR codes to allow fans to purchase merch prior to the film. Frankly, I'd also catch theater goers after the film with signage and QR code to encourage merch purchase. It has been done prior with inventory management being a key issue but I think using ship to home may help solve for that. PLUS, Swifties love to dress up for her concerts and I imagine they will do the same here. Photo booth opportunity? Yes. If I say any more, I'm consulting for free but I have tons of ideas. Hoping to see theaters do at least a few... acknowledging this opportunity for what it is: Swiftie sized. ⭐️ More on this film event from Variety here: https://lnkd.in/e3GaHNnn #music #taylorswift #concert

I am fan of #DMGDASH! Check out this application. You don't need to be a movie star to use one. I have it sitting on my desk to add the perfect warm amber all day long. And it pairs perfectly with a #MixBook for those times I want to snap a photo and pick a color from an image and see what it looks like on my Dash fixture (insert happy emoji here :)). Want to know more about DMG Dash and how it's being used on Stage? Let's talk!
When you need to film an iconic action sequence for #BadBoysRideorDie, whatcha gonna do? Rig a #DMGDASH to to a #Snorricam and let Will Smith do the rest. Now playing in theaters everywhere.
