What can Jack Gohlke and the Oakland Grizzlies teach us about business? 👀 Listening to the post game interview last night…something caught my ear about this game…💥EXPERIENCE💥 Experience wins games…not talent that comes with blue chip, 5 star, legacy recruits. Kentucky is loaded with NBA talent, but they bolt for millions after year 1….coining the term “One and Done”. Average age of 19 yearly = NO EXPERIENCE ❌ Not OAKLAND!!! They’re a team of gritty ballers who are older…not NBA bound. Average age of 22 yearly = EXPERIENCE (Jack Gohlke 24)✅ To stay ahead in business you have stay hungry… Hunger =💥EXPERIENCE💥 The business world isn’t fair…you’ll always be facing a competitor who has a bigger budget, larger staff, better “resume” talent, etc…😩 Want to win? HIT THE BUSINESS GYM daily with training, industry knowledge, new tech stack, books, podcasts, etc… STAY HUNGRY Don’t be a Cinderella👊 #experience #training #outwork #marchmadness #notacinderella
Five years ago, Jack Gohlke was a redshirt freshman at Division II Hillsdale College. Last night, he made 10 three-point shots and scored 32 points as 14-seed Oakland upset 3-seed Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. #BusinessOfTheMadness | Acura (📸: Gregory Fisher/USA Today)

Experienced Non-Profit Senior Executive, Dream Big Go Big and Encourage and Take Care of Each Other Leader Ideology
Good News Friday is here! Now, whether you are a basketball fan or not, an Oakland University fan or not, last night was an absolute lesson in how one identifies where they are and sees the Dream where they want to go as Oakland upset Kentucky in the NCAA tournament, a 14 seed beating a 3 seed and powerhouse. The article I am reposting from Front Office Sports provides an insight to an individual who was a redshirt freshman at an DII school but whose dream was to be on the court with the best. If you follow basketball, this is a Dream, and one that takes what I hope every leader is willing to admit they need: 🌄 Willing to dream - Let lose, dream at work and dream at home, be willing to do it! You did it as a kid, you can do it again! Remember your dreams as a kid, you wanted to be the best at a certain sport, hobby, whatever it was and you would do everything to make it happen. Some of our best inventions and leaders have been those that dared to dream. People love to get behind a Dream! 🗣 Others - This individual, Jack Gohlke, needed coaches, trainers, his teammates, and many others at the university to be successful. Are you willing to let others help you be successful? 👷♂️ Hard Work - There will never be a substitute for this, and I am not talking about being so consumed that you don't have time for your family, others, or have horrible balance. But when you are in the arena, when you are in practice, when you are at work, you are giving your best, because you know the dream is worth it. Allowing yourself to dream, allowing others to help, working hard, are three great ways to see your life, both professional and personal, go to the next level! Have a powerful day and you have what it takes! #Dream #DreamBigGoBig #EncourageAndTakeCareOfEachOther

That's how you stick with a program especially starting from the bottom.
In 1999, James Jones took over a Yale team that hadn't been to the NCAA Tournament since the '60s. He's now led the Bulldogs to March Madness four times in the past eight years and just beat 4-seed Auburn—Yale's biggest tournament win ever. "He built this program brick by brick." #BusinessOfTheMadness | Acura (📸: Kirby Lee/USA Today)

As we say at Ford, be curious! The Detroit Lions have "dudes" in every position—time to go to work and win the NFC Championship. Grit is what Detroit (322 years old) is made of, what the Lions (95 years old) are made of, and what the Ford Motor Company (120 years old) is made of. Go Detroit Pride, Go Ford Family Owners, Go Always Deliver, Go Outpace the Competition, Go, Ford, Go Engineering, Go EV Revolution, Go Customer Experience, Go Design and Software Teams, Go UAW, Go Strategy Team, Go Auto, Go All Industries! #innovationliveshere #aheadofthecurve #diversityandinclusion #careabouteachother #opportunities #strategy #manufacturing #EVs #Blueovalcity #professionalism #deliver #innovationneversleeps #changingthegame #relentleespursuitofperfection #newageautomotivehistory

And this is why you should seek professional advice and support when it comes to home staging, well done Alex and the whole Burbeck team. Last nights episode, watch it on Channel 4.
Thank you so much Paul PK Kemsley and Antony Antoniou for having us on your show Selling Super Houses. Watching the contestants racing around our warehouse was hilarious, the judging was also a highlight! Introducing PK's friend Alexander Willcocks, our MD, talking about how staging can add 10% of the total sale value to a property. Thanks to all our amazing staging and logistics team for helping this happen, whether it was sorting the warehouse or installing on site.
