At CSF, funding decisions are driven by our Community Impact Framework—crafted WITH partners—to ensure that Jackson County’s community's dollars create the healthiest, most meaningful impact for our kids. Our framework is guided by five foundational attributes: 1️⃣ Equitable Access: Every child deserves access to support. 2️⃣ Individualized Approach: Championing innovative and tailored solutions. 3️⃣ Evidence-based Work: Investing in strategies backed by proven success. 4️⃣ Representation: Ensuring children see and hear from diverse voices. 5️⃣ Collaboration: Fostering partner connections to amplify impact. "I know the value of people coming together and in that survival mode, you’re isolated, you’re alone. When you stay isolated, you don’t get as much knowledge as you get from being in a community. And that’s the thing, UpTogether provides a community." UpTogether member Pamela, Cincinnati In 2022, UpTogether distributed $29,284,801 to 10,400 members in 32 cities and counties. Many community leaders and active citizens tell me that they are exhausted, worn out, and frustrated by the mounting challenges in our society and the difficulties in addressing them. Of course they are. You may be, too. There are days when I am. That's exactly why I launched a new nationwide campaign: "Enough. Time to Build." I am undertaking this civic campaign to show that we need not give in to negativity or despair. There is an alternative, realistic, and hopeful path forward. It starts in our local communities. It’s there that we can see and hear one another. Where we can uphold dignity for all. Where we can grow our belief that we can get things done together. This campaign is to remind us of what is possible and what we are capable of. We can build stronger communities, together. And we can get started today with simple, practical steps. https://lnkd.in/gVkPqYVp

🚨Interrupting this broadcast to state the following: As I addressed earlier - promoting the concept of community developed frameworks across the networking sector was met with an abundance of resistance. This is one of the main reasons why the overall process to fund the model took three years in total. At the time Youth HQ was funded we were the first, it was the SECTORS Pilot Project and it came from Blacktown From last years blowout, I have since seen a rise in organisations promoting and integrating a more accomodating approach for the community to contribute. Honestly, it was easy for me to see it in my own community first To picture such an accessible, thriving dream, not just in ONE organisation but in EVERY organisation - would’ve meant that EVERY young person could’ve walked through the open doors of ANY organisation and be received as the professional of their own life The community sector is a path I could never walk again, not after taking the high road out. Nonetheless, I know what I’ve done has still changed the course of it’s history “The doors stay open to all young people, no matter what” had its burdens and curses, but setting Youth HQ alight still had its honour: the suffering of young people was not worth a single dime that was stolen from them #dearwesternsydney #youthled #advocacy #communitydeveloped #youthhq #blacktown #westernsydney #community #crappyfundingpractices #tickabox #frauds
