Unfortunately, I’m unable to disclose at this time exactly how many strokes it took in order to get this photo. What I can tell you is there’s nothing quite like this feeling. Sure there’s always room for improvement, but I know I’m on the right track. If you’re unfamiliar, there are stickers you can place on your golf club called Impact Tape. As you strike the ball, it leaves an imprint on where you are hitting with the club. The goal is to strike the ball in the center of the marked circle. Striking outside the circle makes for an inaccurate hit. Meaning, you’ll probably have to go hunting for your ball somewhere. This is a great tool to help you zero in your skills. It is immediate feedback to the player. Much like the impact tape, I too, help others achieve their desired destination. I see where they are now and guide them toward the direction they want to go. It’s not a complicated process like some might imagine. It’s a simple breakdown of how to get you your best shot. ⛳️On the real, If anyone is down to go golfing soon— I can always use the practice.

💭 Tip Tuesday with General Manager, Marc Russell, PGA, at Stone Creek Golf Club located in Ocala, FL.⁠ ⁠ "When Practicing, Practice With A Purpose."⁠ ⁠ Try to find the center of the club face to help maximize the output you get from your club. Take a bottle of foot spray for a driver or a dry erase marker for an iron and apply it to the face of your club. Continue to hit balls to see where you strike the ball on the club face. This will give you instant feedback for what you may be trying to fix on the range. Having the knowledge to know where the ball makes impact with the face of the club will help in determining the next steps in solving your swing flaws.
