At Bekaert, we always dare to go beyond, and last weekend was no exception. Several employees proudly participated in the #SportaMonVentoux 🚴♂️ event, demonstrating our commitment to pushing boundaries and supporting good causes. One standout participant is our team member, Severine Deloof, who exemplifies our spirit perfectly. We are incredibly proud of Séverine for reaching new heights—both literally and figuratively. Despite facing a personal battle with breast cancer, her ambition to conquer Mont Ventoux by bike never wavered. With team support and the backing of Philip Eyskens, she achieved her dream, showcasing incredible resilience by climbing Mont Ventoux not only once but twice. By leaving her pink ribbon —a symbol for breast cancer awareness—at the top, Séverine wanted to show her gratitude toward #ThinkPink for their support to her and many others. Séverine’s achievement reminds us that we are truly better together, supporting each other to overcome challenges and achieve great things. 🤝 #DareToGoBeyond #BetterTogether
