It was exciting to meet so many customers, partners, and ecosystem players that share Gupshup's vision of a Conversational Internet and want to be the early movers in the space. A few key messages I shared at the event: - from Communication to Conversation: instead of seeing messaging as yet another comms channel, it needs to be viewed as a product platform - Build conversational presence: acquiring / activating users on conversational channels, without also having a conversational presence, is like sending emails without having a website. Users prefer to stay in the same channel, rather than context switching. - we're irreversibly in the Conversational era: it's not just messaging, but also audio, video, 3d avatars, humanoid robots, or even websites and apps - they'll all inevitably end up with a conversational interface, as is already happening At Gupshup, we're committed to pioneering Conversational Engagement and bringing the latest innovations and solutions to our customers. Conversation is in our DNA. In fact, it's in our very name! (Gupshup is the hindi word for Conversation).
