Executive Coach/CEO Advisor, Talent and Leadership Consultant, Executive Search, Mentor to Execs in Transition
Shout out to Tonic Blooms who have been become my go to florist. The main reason is the quality and beauty of their flowers. They package the bouquet with the most care I have experienced. They texted me informing me that my flowers were going to be there shortly. And then today, they demonstrated the #bestcustomerservice. I had written an email commending them on my beautiful roses but was concerned that perhaps they may not last because some looked yellow at the tips. Not only did they explain that this was a special type of rose and attach a picture of the strain but they sent me a beautiful bouquet of peonies. Let’s be clear- I didn’t complain. In fact, I had given a 5 star review. They had my business. But they did it anyway. And they replied almost immediately. Customer for life. Businesses- this is what #bestinclass #customerservice looks like. Take a lesson. And Tonic Blooms; take a bow.

Same flower content and quantities but they all look different which, in my opinión, adds interest. Truth is, I can never get them to look exactly like each other when using múltiple flowers or when producing large quantities, so I just surge ahead creating a unique one each time. The key is to maintain the size and shape which makes them appear to be the same. However, it's quite revealing watching the reaction of guests as they surround you post event to ask for one of the arrangements as you strive to retrieve your vases before the deadline of close down, as set by the venue. Of course there's never enough to go round so you know you're in trouble! Guest Categories * The Snatcher: Grabs one quickly and saunters off . *The Entitled: A family member or friend who informs you through a History lesson of when they first met or a Human Biology lesson based on Genetics of who they are. *The I'm a Florist: So I know all the names of the flowers, though not in latin, and yes, I can see that you did an ok job. * The Reticent One: Waiting patiently to be handed or asked if they would like one. *The Whisperer: Who wants one for mother who wasn't able to attend. *The Surveyor : Who has their eye on a specific one. *The Happy One: Who is just thankful for some flowers. *The Complainer: Who tells you that they were there first, you ignored them and/or you handed one to someone standing beside them. This is when you delve into the murky water of a vase which hasn't had its water changed for days by either responding with the sweet aroma of lillies or the putrid smell of the cabbage plant. I hadn't realised that being a florist had so much drama attached to it but as one customer said "you know you've done a good job when there's no trace of the arrangements left on the tables". I'll take her word for it! https://lnkd.in/e6UE6n5z #flowers #floralarrangements #floraldesign #florist #events #eventdecor #eventplanner #weddings #funerals

Today's tip: Fundamentals of Bookkeeping Tracking revenues Multiple revenue accounts are useful for providing a detailed breakdown of different sources of income, which makes it easy to see which products and services are making you the most money. Example: A florist may have separate revenue accounts for custom floral arrangements, pre-made arrangements, live plant sales or even workshops. The florist can easily determine if their marketing is working, or needs to be adjusted. With specific accounts, the florist can even tell if their market prefers succulents, ferns or blooming flowers, so they can cater to their customer's wishes.

🌸 The wedding planning process can be overwhelming, and choosing the right flowers for your special day can be especially daunting. With so many different types and styles, it can be difficult to express exactly what you want to your florist. But fear not, there's a simple solution: 🌷 choose your top three flower images and share them with your florist. Whether it's a bold and bright arrangement or a delicate and romantic bouquet, be sure to describe what you like about each photo in detail. By being clear on the colors and overall style you prefer, your florist will be able to bring your floral vision to life. 🌷 Don't be afraid to speak up about what you don't like either - a good florist will listen and translate your preferences into a stunning display of flowers that will leave you breathless. #prodjserviceinc #djservicesmichigan #entertainmentservices #weddingdj #weddinguplighting #michiganwedding #michiganweddings #weddingvideography #weddingphotographer #weddingtips #weddings2023
