The United States has enacted multiple initiatives to promote the adoption of electric vehicles (EV). Among these programs, some are offering recipients funding that covers up to 80% of the eligible project costs for EV infrastructure. Two of the largest ongoing programs are the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program (CFI Program) and the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. Learn more about the program highlights and tracking federal funds through these helpful resources. NEVI FUNDING NAVIGATOR: https://bit.ly/3oad1fv Helps you navigate each state's funding status, available funds, and application process. CFI PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: https://bit.ly/3YvD9PN The CFI Program is divided into two grant categories and has allocated $2.5 billion to facilitate the strategic deployment of EV charging infrastructure and other alternative fueling infrastructure projects. #utilities #gridtechnology #gridmodernization #powerutilities #gridsolutions #smartgrid #smartgridsolutions

Joint Office of Energy and Transportation has just launched a very informative and interactive 📗 playbook - a guide to help communities navigate through planning, engagement, siting and 💰funding for EV charging infrastructure. There are videos and step-by-step guides in addition to checklists, etc. It's a very useful tool for companies who want to get federal and state funding. 👉 The playbook consists of 4 modules with resources on developing a project, community engagement, deployment strategies and how to choose the right site in order to match it with funding requirements. Highly recommend! #jointofficeofenergy #evcharginginfrastructure #evcharging #NEVI

When I started as a part-time intern at BDC in January 2021--back when we only had 2 FT staff--one of my jobs was literally calling all of the utilities across CA to check and verify their electrification rebate data. Can you imagine doing that....for every state?? Like every week? Even though I (thank god) don't have to do that anymore, this collaborative incentive finder is going to make my life and the lives of sooo many people much much better. NODE Collective represents the movement-forward, collaborative, ego-less ethos I love so much about BDC and our knoweldge-sharing mission, which is encapsulated by André Meurer in his post about Node: "It is only by getting together around a shared vision and combining knowledge and resources that we can create an alliance that is more than the sum of its parts. A collective model distributes responsibility, avoids bottlenecks, and promotes a culture of collaboration rather than competition." (https://lnkd.in/gQwi8VJs). ⬇ Down with competition, privatization, and bottlenecks ⬆ Up with collaboration, public goods, and climate benefits 🔵 Sign up for updates on the Node site to become part of the solution! https://lnkd.in/gcDTvBhE
⚡ In the spirit of making incentives for home electrification more accessible and actionable for all, we’re excited to announce the launch of the National Open Data for Electrification (NODE) Collective. 🏡 Alongside our partners Eli Technologies, Rewiring America, RMI (founded as Rocky Mountain Institute) and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center, we’re working to source, structure and maintain a comprehensive data set of incentives and rebates available to households nationwide. NODE Collective is recruiting collaborators and funders to help overcome the fragmented incentive data landscape. Read more about NODE in our press release below 👇🏽 https://lnkd.in/gyzCWv38
