There is GREATNESS inside you. Not goodness. GREATNESS. And the rest of us are counting on you to embrace it and unleash it on the world around you. On us. To be clear, owning and unleashing your greatness is not arrogant. Believing you're the only one with greatness, or that your greatness is better than someone else's, is arrogant. But simply owning who you are and what you bring to every table, to every relationship, is not arrogant. It's responsible. Because you were not given your greatness for your own benefit. It is not yours to hide or to hoard. You are merely a steward of your greatness, expected to use it to be a light in someone else's darkness. Because if your greatness is your gift, then purpose in life comes from regifting. Give yourself permission to own and unleash your greatness. You don't need to be something you're not, but you damn well better never allow yourself to be anything less than you are. I once read an article on why so few people ever achieve greatness? The answer is simple: 🧐Because, honestly - it’s easier to let someone else call the shots. It’s scary to be the CEO of your life. It’s a big responsibility. It means you can’t blame other people for your problems. Most people don’t want this heavy responsibility. “The moment you accept total responsibility for EVERYTHING in your life is the day you claim the power the change ANYTHING in your life.” -Hal Elrod. ❤️  - Pretty powerful!! Most people would claim they want to live exciting, extraordinary lives and work hard at it. These people make up what author Hal Elrod once labeled the “Mediocre Majority.” These people, despite their good intentions, still end up settling for second-best. Their problem is that the path to mediocrity is simply more clear than the path to greatness. And greatness takes work!! 😩😠 If you want to live an extraordinary life, you need to develop clarity on exactly what it is you want and then how to do it. Greatness doesn’t require comparisons The biggest thing unknown is we can be great by encouraging ourselves to have no limitations to our own greatness. In a nutshell, always be discouraged from looking for someone to compare yourself with, you can be great without any comparisons. A comparison is a limitation.
