In Agriculture 4.0, various geospatial data sources and technologies are usually utilized. The uses of these different types of data (remote sensing from satellites, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles-UAVs, GNSS, photogrammetry, laser scanners and other types of data) depends on the different applications to be carried out: 1. Satellites Images: · Multispectral and Hyperspectral Imaging: Provides detailed information on plant health, soil conditions, and water resources. · NDVI (and Also Other Vegetation Index): Used to monitor vegetation vigor and health, helping to manage irrigation and detect stress in plants. 2. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): · Aerial Imaging: Offers high-resolution images for detailed mapping and monitoring of crop conditions. · Thermal Imaging: Detects water stress and guides efficient irrigation practices. 3. GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems): · Precision Farming: Enables accurate mapping and positioning, essential for tasks like planting, fertilization, and harvesting. 4. Photogrammetry: · 3D Modeling: Creates detailed 3D models of the terrain and vegetation, aiding in the planning and management of landscapes. 5.
