Very well deserved! Many congratulations!
Well done sir!
Congratulations, and thank you for your help with some “challenging” patients over the years
Congratulations, Edward Rowland. # www.sasat.org
So well deserved- a giant in cardiology and an absolute gentleman!
Great news . Well done.
Edward congratulations on this well deserved award which you won’t have sought but you deserve. You exemplify the very best in British Medicine and Cardiology in particular. At a time when the profession is under such terrible pressure from the Managerial Class it’s great to celebrate what really does matter.
Well deserved. Edward established the "rhythm section" of the cardiology service at Papworth in the mid 90s, and was a joy to work with. A real gentleman. Stephen Bridge, CEO 1988-2016
Hi Ed, many pacemakers have been implanted and pathways ablated since we last met. Congratulations on all your achievements. Fond memories of our times at NHH and Royal Brompton Hospital

1moI first met Edward in my late 20’s. I found cardiology infinitely more interesting than my formal biochemistry education. However, on reflection, I did not know what I did not know at the time. I remember Edward diplomatically correcting my erroneous assumption. When I asked him to expand, he generously gave me his time to explain whilst not adding to my embarrassment. Thank you for sketching out the basic concepts of cardiac electrophysiology on a piece of paper for me. “Pebbles in a pond” has always stuck.
