We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to work on the Orion program through our Human Space Flight Technical Integration Contract (HSFTIC) at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. In this role, you will manage the Orion Flight Test Objectives (FTO) and Development Flight Test Objectives (DFTO) process and documentation for the Orion program; as well as provide pre-flight technical support for cross program data dependencies and post-flight products. The successful candidate will have a BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited Engineering school, plus 10 years of appropriate work experience. Preference will be given to those with a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent, and/or prior NASA/space activity experience. Barrios is looking for an Astromaterials Small Particles Processor to join our JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science (JETS II) contract at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role will entail processing astromaterial sample allocations, preparing transfer and weighing samples, and tracking the movement of samples through the Curation database. You will also provide petrographic characterization, digital imaging, inventory and cataloging of astromaterial samples. The successful candidate will have a BS degree from an accredited college or university in an associated technical discipline with up to two years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a clean-room laboratory and preparing ultramicrotome samples. Eva is an active member of the JSC’s Out & Allied Employee Resource Group (ERG) and is currently working to organize the group’s participation in the Houston Pride Parade. “We want to have fun with the parade, but it also gives us an avenue to put together an event that is visible and that anyone at Johnson can attend and be excited about together."
