Barnhart unloads two 397,000-pound autoclaves from a ship in Memphis with two 500-ton cranes onto two 12-Line PST Goldhofer trailers for transport. The autoclaves were hauled approximately two miles to a manufacturing site. The 31’ tall convoy required moving numerous electrical and communication lines along the route. Most of the electrical lines had to be de-energized and dropped. Another incident involving a mixer rollover in Chichester yesterday. Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries. However, this is another stark reminder of the critical need for comprehensive training for mixer truck drivers. https://lnkd.in/eZGB26vt Last week, an article was published on MixerSURE© about the road safety hazards of mixer rollovers.
