Celebrating 18 years at Triad!
In 2005, Tony Veljkovic joined Triad in order to pursue new opportunities after feeling dissatisfied with his position as a Plant Manager. He was introduced to Triad by a friend, marking his departure from a completely different industry. The team warmly welcomed him and was eager to share their knowledge about the intricacies of the retail sector.
Tony reflects, "I learned a lot from my colleagues, and we complemented each other in running the metal division at the time."
In 2012, a pivotal moment occurred when a customer requested a project requiring UL listing. Tony, with his background in the food service industry and familiarity with the UL process, played a key role. Working alongside our engineering team, they successfully achieved UL listing for the product and the factory.
Around the same time Tony was able to get the facility NSF certified for custom equipment, marking a transformative period for Triad. Tony stated, "As you can see, that changed Triad from a fixture company to a more complicated manufacturing company."
"The main reason I stayed with Triad is the 3 owners are the best I worked for in my 50+ year working career. They care for the employees and treat all of us with respect."
Here's to Tony's 18 years of growth, learning, and shared success! We are so lucky to have you on our team.

By supporting DEI, WE can help #SAVE one store
Energy Umbrella,LLC/Lubbock Power To Choose, minority-owned business stands at the intersection of energy solutions and social impact, particularly in underserved communities.
The recent and heartbreaking news of 1,000 store closures, couldn’t help but reach out to you directly. Like you, I understand the profound impact our work has on communities that rely on the accessibility and affordability of stores Family DollarDollar Tree Stores. The potential loss of such vital resources is not just a business issue; it's a community crisis that affects thousands of lives, including many in neighborhoods like the one I grew up in.
In light of this, Energy Umbrella, LLC is spearheading a $50,000,000.00 GIVE 6LACK DEIP (Diversity, Equality, Inclusivity Partnership) initiative aimed at turning challenges into opportunities, specifically by transforming utility expenses into funding for businesses that champion DEI. Our approach is designed to alleviate financial pressures but also to reinforce our shared commitment DEI and how we might collaborate to potentially save #1 store closing, thereby preserving jobs and supporting communities in tangible, meaningful ways. #DEI

As I watched the Leadership Florida account post the announcements of my fellow #CornerstoneClass41 members, I had a flashback to the beginning of my journey with this program, and it's time for some real talk about it.
I was intrigued when I was asked to attend a recruitment meeting for the program, but when I read the profile of their target member, I thought, "They must have sent this to the wrong person."
I was at a very frustrating point in my career and did not feel like I was Leadership Florida material, but I took a chance, applied, and was selected.
When I stepped into that first session, and we all left our titles at the door, I was reminded that sometimes, when you are in the whirlwind of your current situation, you may start to convince yourself that you aren't whom you have always known yourself to be. In these times, you need to force yourself to take a step back and evaluate what is wildly important to you and make a plan to achieve what you know you are capable of achieving.
I want to thank every one of my classmates who reminded me of that and put me on an amazing path of personal and professional growth over these last several months. I am simply a better person for sharing this experience with some of the most amazing individuals I've ever met in a single program, neck and neck with my LEADERSHIP COLLIER FOUNDATION Class of 2020 friends, of course!
If there is anything I hope someone reading this takes away, it's to be true to yourself and the core of who you are. Do not let any external factors that are out of your control affect your view of yourself. Shut out the noise, identify what is in your control and use that to effect the change you need in your life.
I know that I belong, and that has made all the difference.
Exciting times ahead for BB&S as we join forces with the Highlanders. Launching our strategic partnership meant stepping onto the field and into the spotlight before kickoff last weekend.
Embracing the challenge and pushing boundaries at the end of my comfort zone – that's how we grow! 🪴 #Partnership#BusinessAdvisory
