Yes You Can Good Sunday morning. Did you have a good week? How is your month so far? What about your year? Goals met? You have the ability to accomplish whatever you open your mind to. Yes, it's that simple. Nobody is going to tell you this. When you are a child, it's all you can be anything. Then, you get to high school and things are different. You're taught about being an adult, with what responsibilities are coming, and then told to choose a career path that's safe. How do we go from be anything you want to pick a safe path? Especially in just a few shirt years? I encourage you to go back to your childhood. What was your dream? Notice I said yours? Not your parents. Not anyone else's. That one thing you desired. If it was really your dream, it's still in your soul, it's just been suppressed. Why? Adults were teaching you the safe path. What they should have done is let you follow your path , regardless of what it was. The days of needing that degree are over. It's not important. Sure it is needed for certain positions, but you shouldn't feel the need for them if they don't align with your path. Do what is burning inside you. That will bring you joy. Will it be hard? Absolutely. But in order to wake up every day raring to go, that dream will provide that versus going to that 9 to 5 that isn't what you want to do. If you are that person stuck with debt, in over your head and need that huge salary, you have to make some decisions. Again, very simple. Take a step back to follow that dream if necessary. or keep at what you're doing. But remember when you get much older, will regret set in? Can you live with regret? It tears most people to shreds. The thought you lived a lie. The knowing you didn't follow your gut. Knowing there was so much more. I talk and spend time with alot of people. Regret is one of the biggest things discussed. My stomach is a bit upset today and I choose to have homely light food or only fruit juices, my wife wants to have some chatpata and my daughter is wanting to taste plum cake, and we are meeting with other families today who are saying we will have soups and pastas today. I am sure this happens to each one of us. In a similar way, when major life decisions are to be taken, again there are diverse views, some backed by past experiences, some by current wants or needs and even some backed by logic. Life decisions like getting married, choosing divorce, looking to leave 9-5 kind of job and starting on your own entrepreneurial journey, upgrading home, buying first home, country switch etc are few life decisions where life transitions are involved and these are large family decisions, generally taken with the family in confidence, but with diverse views, gets difficult. In such case the decision either becomes lopsided rather than joint (and so lifetime relationship issues), or largely the decision gets procrastinated (and so opportunity loss or true potential unleash never happens) and/or financial losses. Such decisions are never about money, but most likely money becomes everything in the discussions.
