“Your actions add up to collective change.” Annie Reid, USWNTPA Director of Strategic Partnerships, has some advice about how people can make a difference for gender and pay equity: 1. Join the U.S. Women's National Team Players Association lending team! For as little as $25, you can impact a small business — it’s as easy as that. 2. Remember that your actions add up, so make an impact however you can. 3. Amplify marginalized voices through the media you engage with. 4. Seek out and patronize women-owned businesses and services. 5. Loan to women on Kiva. Helping that entrepreneur reach their goal will get more dollars circulating in their community for the greater good. You can help level the playing field by making a loan to a woman entrepreneur today: https://bit.ly/457eZNA

INTIMATE PARTNER HOMICIDE This post shows just how out of touch this Man really is with this ISSUE!!! Wake up Anthony Albanese you're suggesting that you have reduced what has been a $10,000 "to flee danger" payment for the LAST DECADE down to $5000 & your boasting about it as if it's "progress".... you haven't even looked at the problem close enough to bloody understand it!! "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” - Albert Einstein Do you even care at all? That 1 women every 4-5 days is being MURDERED in Australia right now, by their partners & ex partners?? Throwing money "AT IT" especially less than we already were isn't fixing anything especially considering the government has been offering TWICE THAT for 10 years and it has done a damn thing!! Have you listened to A SINGLE THING WE'VE SAID? We need safe houses to escape too, better police identification system protocols, to catch repeat offenders gaming the system. We need the Justice System to step up and EVOLVE with the times and GET OFF THE PAPER BACK MANILLA FOLDER FILING SYSTEM we are currently running!! We need better Mental Health support for both MEN & VICTIM/SURVIVORS!! We HAVE TO STOP WOMEN BEING MURDERED every few days in AUSTRAILA!
I want women to know if they need to leave, they can afford to go. Yesterday we took significant steps to help women escaping violent partners. With up to $5000 of financial support as part of our Leaving Violence Program. There's more to do, and we’ll keep working across every state and territory to achieve change.
