Inspiring Story: Katie Pumphrey, a Baltimore woman, is attempting a historic swim today, planning to cover more than 24 miles from Sandy Point State Park near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the Harborplace Amphitheater in the Inner Harbor. This unprecedented swim is a unique challenge she has set for herself, serving as a love letter to Baltimore and celebrating the years of effort invested in improving the harbor.
