Several operators, each with a number of AW139s over 15 years old, told us they are still performing well. Provided they are maintained properly, there is no reason that they cannot continue for another 10 years. This is one of many reasons the growing demand in the offshore segment goes in a specific direction: the AW139. Do you want to know more about the AW139 or about other models? Helping to SOLVE YOUR CHALLENGES toward Aerospace & Defense FLIGHT-CRITICAL equipments and supply chain
Interesting tweet Flaps ✈️ “These are portions of the wing that can extend outward and down to dramatically change the shape and surface area of the wing. They effectively turn the thin, sharp edged, high speed wing into a fat, highly curved low speed wing. Pilots can select a wide variety of flap settings, from only a small amount, all the way to fully extended. In the Boeing 737, the flaps settings are Flap 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 25, 30 and 40. The greater the flap setting, the slower we can fly. Flaps 1, 5, 15 and 25 are considered takeoff flap settings and flap 30 and 40 are landing settings. This enables a wing that's designed to fly at over 80% of the speed of sound (approximately 500mph) at 41,000 feet, to fly safely at 145 mph when taking off or landing .” ©️ airlinepilotperformance https://lnkd.in/ev32jZUT And guess what ?? #Umbragroup ballscrews on board !
