Teodora, Junior DevOps Engineer Avisto Eastern Europe ''My lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer changed in high school when I realized that my true talent lies in mathematical sciences. I learned that the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is one of the most difficult and profitable and that's how I chose my career. 😊 I completed my undergraduate and master's studies at the Department of Telecommunications and Information Technologies. At JobFair three years ago, I left my CV, and a few months later I got a call from Avisto about a DevOps Internship and the position matched my wishes: working in the IT sector, but not completely as a developer and not completely as a system administrator. 😊 As a DevOps Engineer, there are a lot of tools you can learn and a lot of paths you can take, so it's never monotonous and boring. The fun part is that you are the glue of the project that works with a lot of different teams and cooperates with developers, testers, managers, etc. The less fun part is that everybody calls you when something is wrong but, we chose a life full of challenges! 😊 Another very important thing at work is to have a good mentor, fun colleagues, a good atmosphere, and some hobbies during the break (darts of course). Fortunately, I found all these things in one place at my first job. So, apply and join us to work and drink coffee together!'' The curiosity to unravel their mysteries and explore how software could be seamlessly integrated into our surroundings drove my every thought. This passion pushed me towards a career in engineering. My journey began with an internship in embedded software development. It was my first real step into the world of engineering. During my internship, I got a firsthand look at the dynamic field of embedded software. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to put my theoretical knowledge into practice.🚀 Working on real-world projects, I learned the importance of collaboration and the intricacies of developing software for embedded systems.
