Reminder: you don't have to be huge to be successful. You can be amazing instead. I was reminded of this today by a YouTuber, Dustin Wilson AKA JustDustin. He has 5.7 million subscribers, but pointed out that lots of Creators with smaller audiences get views. Scale is one lever for revenue. Quality is the other. Obviously, try to have both... But Creators with no following can get massive eyeballs and huge deals simply because the thing they make is amazing. So if growth-hacking isn't your thing... Focus on your product, whatever it is. Make it amazing, and you'll also find success.
Facts. A friend of ours posted a snack on Douyin a few months ago. Her video literally got less than 10 likes, but the purchase link at the bottom was used 30,000 times. She made BANK with that post.
A great reminder, Avi Gandhi. Hopefully, quality begets audience growth.
Quality over quantity!
Nice reminder Avi! I would also add that predictability and staying to a schedule is important. Reliability - and more shots on net - work for hockey players and creators too.
