https://lnkd.in/dmnD8fk2 Initiatives like the Presidential Youth Indaba should be an annual program. Having them in each province will help create more awareness and opportunities for job creation and youth entrepreneurship. Public and private institutions have a responsibility to create platforms and incubation centers, where young people can express their interests and ideas, get guidence and mentorship, and exposure to different sectors and markets. Ideally, having these incubation hubs in each province will give the youth a fighting and give South Africa a chance to show what our young people can achieve when provided with exposure to varies markets and industries. Whether it's to seek employment, or to find sponsors for their ideas.... We owe it to them to revisit this initiative. #justathought #youthIndaba #makeSouthAfricaWork Our current crop of leaders need to do better. We have the capacity as a nation. we just need to invest more in youth programs that actually benefit South Africans and Africans as a whole.

Recently, I came across the term "Euthymia": defined as "believing in yourself and trusting that you are on the right path." It is my belief, that once you harness this direction; others will follow and feel inspired. That is why I want to introduce you to "Brother Willy"; a man who followed his heart and managed to turn self-confidence into global impact; converting more than 10 million KG of second-hand goods as tools for more dignified lives across developing nations: Myanmar, Ghana, Haiti, Cameroon, Congo, and so on. The excess of materials being produced, discarded each year is astounding: What if Willy and his volunteers were no longer able to support these streams?—will they further drain natural resources, fill landfills? With this teaser: “The Missionary” 🎬 Max Knaapen and I wish to warm you up for the release of our "very first short documentary together" coming Thursday, April 11. 🔔 This project marks the beginning of a shared passion, collaboration for impactful storytelling. Let's see where the journey takes us, and how this may benefit both planet and people. With special thanks to Soumaya El Hammami Verder who helped fund this project under "LAHBS". #Impactfulstories #changemakers #collectiveaction #equality #purpose #wastereduction

ʀᴇᴄʟᴀɪᴍɪɴɢ ʏᴏᴜʀ ɪᴅᴇɴᴛɪᴛʏ Yesterday's match between Super Eagles of Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Bafana Bafana of South Africa 🇿🇦 is not short of a good day to die hard. Life treats you unfairly sometimes but your reaction to getting the better story to tell about it lies in the choices you made, You need to keep your head up when your hope is dashed just as the second goal was nullified and turned into a penalty for the opposition knowing fully well that South Africa 🇿🇦 won't miss such an opportunity for any reason on this planet earth. You feel anxiety and fear when trials seem to overcome you but defending with all your energy and maximizing the slightest opportunity to reclaim your identity is all you need in the game of life. Just as this match means a lot to Nigerian 🇳🇬 in reclaiming the slogan "Giant of Africa", earning the lost glory in the faces of all the world 🌍, you need to speak life into your life, believe in yourself and remain consistent. There is more for us as a Nation to reclaim especially in stabilising our economy, eradicating corruption and reforming our policies to meet our local needs. In finding your identity, know that you need people who will refine, redress, and reshape you for you can't run the race with your knowledge. Have Nwabili in your team 👥 E get why. Thank you to all the team players and we look forward to victory in the finals. Africa is yours and Africa is mine. It is home to so many people who don’t even come from here. Africa is not just the Sub-Saharan countries, it is the Maghrebian region and islands too. Together, we make up #Africa. There are so many people who talk about contributing to the betterment of Africa. There are so many people who only talk. Then there others who go out of their way to #educate, #train, #contribute, #empower, etc Africans to be more. To do more and to have more. We organized a conference recently where we contributed our quota. I’m pleased to announce to you all that people from far and wide answered the call to be present. I told you all we will bring you another event soon. With a #new #name, the objective is inclusive of new opportunities as well. We will put Africa on a global stage. Through #leadership, #agriculture, #entrepreneurship, #technology, etc, we will rise as Africans and take our place. A place where we can also contribute to the betterment of the world. #ubuntu, I am because you are. Kindly reach out in DM if you’re interested in being a part of the next event. 🇿🇲Celebrating Africa Freedom Day: Empowering Through Education and Information Today, on Africa Freedom Day, we at Moono-Valo Resource Centre reflect on the true essence of freedom. For us, freedom transcends beyond political independence; it encompasses the right to an excellent education, the acquisition of vital skills, and unrestricted access to information. Education is the cornerstone of empowerment. It opens doors, broadens horizons, and equips individuals with the tools they need to shape their destinies. At Moono-Valo, we are committed to providing quality educational resources and fostering environments where young minds can thrive and innovate. In our interconnected world, access to information is not just a luxury but a necessity. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to their communities. Our mission is to bridge information gaps, ensuring that knowledge is accessible to all, and that it drives sustainable development and economic growth. On this day, let's reaffirm our dedication to these principles. Let’s work together to create a future where every African has the freedom to learn, the freedom to grow, and the freedom to succeed. Happy Africa Freedom Day! #AfricaFreedomDay #EducationForAll #EmpowermentThroughEducation #MoonoValo #InformationIsPower #SustainableDevelopment #EconomicGrowth #Innovation
