AWC's Director of Business Development, Buck Smoak, proudly honored his sister Kim Smoak with a scholarship in her name at the North Florida School of Special Education's graduation. Kim's life changed how people with intellectual differences were perceived, breaking boundaries and achieving many accomplishments. Her legacy continues through this scholarship, which aids students in athletics or vocational training. 40% of NFSSE's 230 students receive financial aid, making these funds crucial in supporting students' tuition. With deep ties to NFSSE through our employees and their families, this scholarship holds special significance for AWC. NFSSE empowers students with intellectual and developmental differences to thrive and become their best selves.
