NC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE MARK ROBINSON IS RIGHT AND WRONG: I didn’t watch the BET Awards because gone are the days of celebrating black excellence and achievements. Now, it has become the strip club and back alley scene as white record executives and their money loving Black sycophants push hip hop culture on us. No shame or decency. Sadly, this type of low level, sluttish, gangsta entertainment broadly stereotypes most Blacks although strip clubs and gangsterism don’t represent the values of most Black Americans. Truth is most Blacks have Biblical values given our high church attendance. Though declining, especially with younger Blacks, the Black church is still the center of the Black community, not the strip club. Yet, a small percentage and subculture of the Black community gets all the attention, e.g., Megan The Stallion, Sexy Red, 21 Salvage, etc. Hence, Robinson and other black conservatives are correct to push righteousness in the black community but are wrong to simultaneously push white supremacy and devalue racial justice for their personal gain. Again, God’s Kingdom is built on righteousness and justice. Psalm 89:14. And the Black community desperately needs prophets and leaders who will take God’s Kingdom of both righteousness and justice, in equal measure to the black community.
