It will be no surprise to ANYONE who knows me, how much I respect, admire, and cherish my personal and business relationship with the great one - Anki Strigl. Simply put, without this leader, Periti Digital is nowhere near the success, growth, and customer satisfaction levels we enjoy today. There is no individual who has been more essential to our success than this person. As Anki makes this move for her family and career (which I celebrate!...and, yes, I also 😭) it's important for me to testify - because, during her 2 years with us, she did not merely touch - but CONTROLLED and STEERED so many critical parts of our business. 1. Anki drove our corporate formation efforts in the DACH region - negotiating with Accounting, Legal, and Government agencies, as my right-hand woman, on the ground in Munich. I was 7000 miles away in Phoenix, USA, while she established our GmbH, negotiated with tax authorities, and established our presence in Germany. 2. Anki singlehandedly established our critical relationship with @HubSpot in DACH. Setting up meetings with leadership in Berlin before we even had an office. Anki led strategic planning sessions - fostered relationships between our team and the Sales and Leadership teams at our cherished software partner and built communications, sales and cultural infrastructure that we use to this day. 3. Anki acted as our Acting Chief Operating Officer for six months - managing the entire operations process of sales funnel review, services performance, and consultant utilization, and led our oversight process for all three regions (UK&I, DACH and Portugal). Her knowledge of how service businesses work is unparalleled. 4. Anki acted as our HR and Culture lead - driving hiring, fostering culture, teaching principles...and handling success and the inevitable conflicts that naturally occur. 5. When our organizational success became overwhelming - Anki took on the role of CRM Project Manager AND CRM Consultant - successfully managing multiple complex HubSpot CRM initiatives in the DACH region. ...and oh yeah, I almost forgot...the role we hired her for 🤣 ...our Enterprise Director of Marketing. Nobody needs me to explain how good she is at this - her reputation predates Periti, and is unquestioned! Thank you Anki. I (we) owe you so much. After a rewarding journey at Periti Digital, I departed in September due to some personal changes that fueled my quest for more flexibility. Grateful for the incredible experience, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Geoffrey and the entire Periti team for the fantastic ride. 💜 With 15 years in international sales, partner management, and business development, my passion lies in collaborating with software vendors and consulting firms. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of speaking with Romka Walkowiak and Adarsh Noronha from the APAC leadership team at HubSpot about how best to manage conversations with CFOs so that they don't stall your deals too much. Some of the key takeaways: ✅ Make sure you show the realization of the value of buying your solution. Hint: it is not when your prospect signs the contract, but as your customer onboards and starts using the solution, you must be able to demonstrate how it is impacting the business. A good framework is the Data Model AKA "Bow Tie" funnel from Winning by Design. 🤝 When working with your champion, ensure he has all he needs to push your proposition internally - some orgs have never bought software before.
