Like an iceberg, where only a small portion is visible above the water, our requests often hide deeper layers influencing their significance and impact. Understanding why our requests resemble icebergs is essential for effective communication and successful outcomes in personal or professional relationships. During our "Alignment and Delegation" workshop, we discussed how to make clear requests to prevent misunderstandings and foster healthier communication. Our next one-day workshop is dedicated to "Feedback and Development." Join us on August 31 to learn how to provide your team developmental feedback using coaching conversations.

In our pursuit of personal growth, we often find safety in analysing our inner world intellectually, while instinctively shielding ourselves from the emotional aspects that may arise. Executive coaching and engaging in 'inner work' are vital components in creating a safe space to explore our emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Through the guidance of a coach, we unravel the layers that hinder our potential and gain valuable insights into our strengths and growth areas. We learn to embrace this dance of healing and growth so that we can learn, thrive, and create lasting change in both our personal and professional spheres.
It is tempting to paint executive coaching as just one more status symbol. Yet the practice does not have to be an expensive exercise in platitudes. Read why: https://lnkd.in/deR4qzPe Illustration: Paul Blow
