🧰Hydraulic Cylinder Honing Pivotal step in maintaining, overhauling and repairing hydraulic systems. 📋Overview:- - 🪚 In the honing process, a hone or honing stone is used as a tool. And, that is a bonded abrasive stone, which is used for correcting the diameter, surface finish, shape, and positional tolerances of bores. - ⏳ It is a slow abrading process, which involves removal of material at lower cutting speeds. - 📏 Honing removes material based on cylinder condition and tool grit, usually <0.002 inches (0.0508mm). Hydraulic cylinder is one of the important components commonly used in modern construction machinery and other equipment. During the processing and production process, the cylinder barrel, an important component of the cylinder, has a high scrap rate. The main reasons are: 1) The tool rod is slender and has low rigidity, which is prone to tool deviation and vibration. 2) The rigidity of the cylinder blank itself is poor, which is easy to cause out-of-tolerance straightness and roundness. 3) Cooling and chip removal are difficult, and the processed surface is easily scratched by iron chips. 4) The guide of the cutter head is difficult, which causes the wear of the guide bar and destroys the guide function. Therefore, it is necessary to take corresponding measures to ensure the reliability of guiding, cutting, chip removal, lubrication and cooling, in order to effectively reduce the scrap rate of the cylinder. #hydraulic #cylinder #oil #gas

Journal bearing looseness, increased clearance, or wear is a mechanical problem that can occur in machines with rotating shafts supported by journal bearings. Over time, the bearing may experience wear, which can lead to increased clearances between the journal (shaft) and the bearing itself. Additionally, looseness in the bearing housing or assembly can also result in increased clearances and undesirable motion between the journal and the bearing. Grinding machines use magnetic separators and filtering systems to reuse grinding fluid. But debris still remains in the liquid, and that sludge build-up causes scratches on the finished workpiece, resulting in poor finish quality. Fine sludge is difficult to remove even when the fluid is cleaned.
