Pushp Niketan School believes in the Holistic development of children. In this que school recently embarked on an experiment *Involving Automatic Traffic Lights*. The initiative aimed not only to foster students' interest in robotics but also to contribute the enhancement of *road safety and traffic management system*. Under the guidance of experienced faculty members, a group of enthusiastic students of Pushp Niketan School embarked on the journey of designing and implementing a basic automatic traffic light system. The project involved understanding the principles of robotics, programming microcontrollers and integrating sensors to detect and regulate traffic flow. The experiment opens doors for future endeavors in the field of robotics and smart infrastructure.

Coding, robotics, science fairs, and advanced calculus - those are all great things, but they aren't (in and of themselves) really STEM. The key factor that distinguishes STEM from its constituent parts is that STEM is the integration across subject areas !!! 👌

Hi all As part of my work as a teacher assistance I have had the great pleasure to work with 3 amazing students Matan Levy Liad Siles Yinon Bouhbut on improving the orb-slam3, a leading system paper in the field of robotics. We focused on reexamining the way that orb-slam3 utilized the DBow2 in their system for localization and loop closing and replace it with DBoW3. For those of you who aren't familiar with DBow3, DBow3 is well known paper & code which uses bag of words techniques to indexing and converting images into a tree structure representation. It implements a hierarchical tree for approximating nearest neighbors in the image feature space and creating a visual vocabulary and later using it to implement am excellent loop closing algorithm. Before our improvement, there were 271,000~ zeroed weighted leaves, after the improvement there is only 91,000~ zeroed weighted leaves. And as you can see in the attached image the orbslam became almost completely aligned to the ground truth for Euroc machine hall 04 dataset (and of course for many more) here is the link for the pull request with the important fix, enjoy:) https://lnkd.in/dtGhE3ge
