What’s the weirdest thing you’ve done to motivate your team? I’ll start 🙋🏼♀️ Once I used lipstick to paint half my face after losing a Raiders vs Chiefs bet…without realizing it was a lipstick stain. 🤦🏼♀️ For those that don’t use lipstick stain on the reg, I had half a red face for 3 days… bruised ego for a few more days after that!

If you're looking for a job, career change, growth opportunity- ask yourself 3 questions: 1. What is the company's opportunity? What is their TAM, what is their funding status (aka how many resources can you expect to support you), what is their product market fit? 2. Who are their leaders and what are their reputations? I'm not talking exits, I'm talking would people sign up to work for them again. Would they bet their career on them again? 3. What are you going to learn and be challenged with daily? Are you up for that challenge? As Matt Plank would say- "there's a lot of easier companies to make a pay check." So, what are you signing up for and what do you want out of your next "job?" If you can answer those confidently I invite you to apply for the SDR role and really any role at Rippling.

Had an amazing catch up with my mentor Kevin "KD" Dorsey tonight over some wine and whiskey. His advice: - Learn more about AI - Get an Executive Assistant Both have been hard for me to adapt to because they require the realization that I, like everyone, need help. We can't build and scale and execute at 100% without the help of others and leveraging the technology and tools around us. I've been so resistant to both but new 2024 resolution is to not let myself get in my own way. Oh and my advice: - Find you mentors that believe in you, push you, and then make you so grateful that you want to post about them on LI. ;)

2023 was the Year of Growth for our SDR Organization 👀 Our recruiting team and managers hit milestones I've never seen... and I've seen some ish... ➕ Hired 161 IC’s, 15 Managers, 4 Directors and, 1 VP 🌍 Launched globally and now have teams in EMEA, CA, AUS, and continue to build India and the US. 📈 Expanded on our product lines and focused not only on NLS but Cross Sell within our SDR motion. 2024 is the year of SDR- I started talking about it as the year of execution but as I kept speaking I kept finding- this is the year of SDR 💪 Too much noise with AI, with macro economics, with holiday months. All valid to some extent but as an SDR you know your business is a daily execution on the fundamentals. A challenge for every SDR- what can you do in the next 5 days to impact your remaining 13 days from there on the month?? This team is going to focus on what we can execute on, what we can control, and what we can be proud of day in and day out as this machine continues to comes to life.
