This is a brief message to highlight the idea of emotional and intellectual flexibility, both in work and personal settings. Greater than intellect, hard work, glamor, and medals, is the ability to flex and adapt. This is not just a survival mechanism, it is truly one of the key ingredients of good work and leadership. The best leaders are facilitators of ideas, inviting dissent, debate and discussion. The best human beings are those who welcome shame and humiliation, if need be, because they want truth to reign supreme in their lives. When I hold to a particular position, or comfort zone, I expend unnecessary energy protecting that turf. Nurturing and loving yourself is absolutely essential but like all love relationships, self love can become toxic and detrimental to human growth at some point. It was never about you, or me. Life or Universe are playing out in ways that our body-centric egos cannot comprehend. We are participating in the great play of Life, but have forgotten perhaps how to play. This is the realm of innocence, faith, and relaxed yet active engagement in all of Life. Turn away from nothing, turn away no one. Serve all because all are serving you.

Hello Lovelies! Do you know that embracing vulnerability is the human side of leadership? As we go through life, we encounter individuals who inspire us through their successes, vulnerabilities, and humanity. 👉🏼 Consider a pastor who prays for healing, even while battling illness. 👉🏼 Think of a teacher trying to explain complex concepts despite grappling with understanding them fully. 👉🏼 Picture a pilot navigating turbulent skies yet reassuring passengers with strength. 👉🏼 And imagine an army commander facing the horrors of war yet leading their troops with unwavering courage. These examples remind us that behind every role and title lies a person with fears, challenges, and moments of doubt. 👉🏼 The Psychologists, too, experience their mental health journeys while supporting others. Most times, their journeys become their inspiration. This depth of humanity is what connects us all. A shared experience of vulnerability and resilience! Dear professionals! Let's remember that it's okay to be human. Embracing vulnerability doesn't diminish our strength, it amplifies our authenticity and connection with others. It's in these moments of honesty and empathy that true leadership emerges. Let's honor the human side of leadership, bearing in mind that courage isn't the absence of fear but the ability to act regardless of fear. Celebrate your vulnerability! It doesn't make you less human! My name is Dr Achi Bekomson

How do you find inspiration as a leader ? Sharing this beautiful text by David White for some Thursday inspiration. Just Beyond Yourself Just beyond yourself, It’s where you need to be. Half a step into self-forgetting and the rest restored by what you’ll meet. There is a road always beckoning. When you see the two sides of it closing together at that far horizon and deep in the foundations of your own heart at exactly the same time, that’s how you know it’s the road you have to follow. That’s how you know it’s where you have to go. That’s how you know you have to go. That’s how you know. Just beyond yourself, it’s where you need to be.

The secret to navigating through emotion? Feel it before you try to fix it. If we look at any point of conflict and really break it down, is the challenge the conflict itself, or is it the lack of acknowledgment surrounding the issue or conflict? It’s important to practice patience, ask powerful questions, and be okay with silence. If you're a leader that's looking to audit your awareness, ask yourself: “What is it like being on the other side of me?” You have to be ready for that answer – and that could be very powerful. Hold space, feel it before you fix it, and then, if it is appropriate, direct them to the right resources that can support them and hold space on a deeper level when those emotions get really difficult.

Who am I? Your role may either be that of a leader who should guide everyone or that of a follower who should support the leader's beliefs depending on the position to which you are entitled and the responsibility assigned by your figurehead. And because of that, you'll consequently have a tendency to act in accordance with expectations. The real question however is, who are you when no one is watching? For me, When no one is watching, I am neither a leader nor a follower. Instead, I am simply myself—an individual with my own thoughts, beliefs, and values. In the absence of external expectations or pressures, I am free to express my true self and act in alignment with my inner principles. This is when I can fully explore my authenticity and integrity, making choices that resonate with my conscience rather than conforming to external influences. Ultimately, when no one is watching, I am accountable only to myself, striving to live a life that reflects my deepest convictions and aspirations. #bebold

"Owner of Generational Gems: Turning Tumblers into Timeless Treasures, Crafting a Legacy Through Custom Design"
I was thinking about the whole quote we are all familiar with “Be a leader not a follower” Well I don’t agree .. I know it’s just a quote we can all read between the lines right ? But not really not these days anyway maybe when In its infancy.. Everyone now draining themselves and others dry trying to be in control in the driver seat in all aspects of their lives and everyone else’s . With 0 direction. I’m sure you’ve heard of , met or have someone in your life that’s takes the leadership role so not serious, killing relationships, our governments, our hearts bc they are so prideful and dont follow any type of direction, guidance , advices bc they aren’t followers . I love being a good strong healthy leader and Im a huge follower and fan of one who happens to be our Heavenly Father . I’ll also follow some of you through social meadia to take in and draw from your wisdoms , absorb some of your light , and bask in your love . I’ll be a follower all day every day of anyone that has heart encourages and motivates me to my best higher self . Maybe we should revise the “ Be a leader not a follower” quote to “Be a good strong leader but first you must follow a good strong spiritual advisor” . That way people won’t misinterpret the meaning and will understand better where good leadership begins. It won’t make us perfect, but the convictions will keep our integrity levels at an all time high benefiting ourselves and all of those around us. Integrity incompasses who we are overall as a person. A set of rules we set to protect ourselves to how we will love ourselves , and other people. So it’s just my thoughts . I’ve got a lot of them and your welcome to respond and let me know your thoughts.

As your brother in Christ, I want to tell you something important: God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. This is a profound truth that can radically change our perspective in leadership. Our struggles and frustrations are not signs of our inadequacy but opportunities for God to display His sufficiency. This understanding shifts our focus from self-reliance to God-reliance. It's not about being the perfect leader, but about letting the Perfect Leader work through us. As you go about your day today, remember this truth and let it impact your interactions with those around you. Here are some questions for reflection: Are you feeling short-tempered with your colleagues? Remember, our reactions often mirror what's happening within us. Consider the impact of addressing any internal issues first. What things are eating you up inside? It's easy to push aside our feelings, but acknowledging them is the first step towards resolution. Are you regularly seeking God's guidance in your leadership role? Recognize that without His wisdom, we're bound to get frustrated. What did God reveal to you today? The insights we receive from God are not meant to be kept to ourselves. They have the power to encourage and uplift others. Remember: You are more than your frustrations. You are a child of God, fully equipped to overcome challenges. Let’s pray: Lord, know our hearts and our frustrations. Give us wisdom to lead with love and patience and help us to lean into You more, to seek Your guidance in all we do. Tag a colleague or friend who needs to hear this today!

We often avoid dealing with the hard stuff in life because of the unknown. The ‘what ifs’… But what if dealing with things directly, speaking up and saying what you need to say, honestly, is the very thing that will bring the resolution you need? It may be there are hard things to say. Or it could be there are hard things you need to hear. Either way these conversations can shift us from shallow ‘lip service’ & people pleasing, to deepening the authenticity, trust and quality of our relationships. They also have the power to transform your lived reality, into more of what you want and need. Because, speaking your truth freely and being honest, takes a lot less effort and energy than biting your tongue or holding your true self back.✨ Are there conversations in your business, life or leadership that need to be addressed right now? Or boundaries that need to be reset? Leave a 🌈 in the comments if you’re ready to be more direct, clear and speak your truth with confidence! 👇🏻

The path to a great leader is established through integrity, character, authenticity, credibility, and influence. How we treat people speaks volumes about our character and credibility. Actions communicate louder than anything we could ever say. The saying is true: people will always remember how we make them feel. We need to intentionally foster credibility, which proclaims our life principles even when we’re not present. It is not hard, it is about been intentional. This means valuing ALL the people we meet and not being a respecter of persons. I personally have to fight daily against becoming prideful while considering myself of lowly position. I tell myself to always be honest, even if it means that I have to stand alone. One of my personal mottos is that it is better to be righteous than right. Always yield to what is right. A vengeful and unforgiving person is tormented by what was done and what was said. Be more concerned with honoring your position in every situation. This doesn’t mean we’re striving for perfection; even when we are wrong, we must acknowledge it and try to make amends. Always back up your words with action to prove your true credibility. #authenticleadership #character
