Today Airbus announced two signifcant orders at the Singapore Air show for a couple of very important clients. Vietjet one of its largest all time customers placed for the first time an order for new wide body jets i.e. 20 Airbus A330-900Neos. The carrier announced that it would use the planes to expand its footprint in Europe, USA and Australia. Vietjet should have learnt from history that no LCC world-wide has ever been successful flying long haul low cost with its main regional rival Air Asia X having suffered the same fate at its previous failed attempts flying to HNL LGW MRU IKA AKL MCT etc. It should just focus on its core region of Austral-Asia and not venture beyond that. What Vietjet should have done (in my opinion) instead is to have ordered 7-10 Airbus A350 freighters and expand its presence in the cargo marketspace as its much less risk and involves lower capital/operational expenditure. It can leverage SGN geographical location to its advantage by moving freight from EU/India via SGN to Australia-SE Asia + Australia-SE Asia via SGN as well. The second order placed for Airbus aircraft today was by Qantas who announced purchasing 8 additional Airbus A321Neo-XLRs. QF already has on order 20 units of this type thus the total figure it would operate once all get delivered is 28. All of them would be configured with 20 normal business class recline seats + 180 in economy. With this airplane type having its flying range reduced offcially a little bit, it would mean QF can only use it on missions up to 9 hours. #vietjet #hanoi #a330 #hochiminhcity #vietnam #hochiminh #danang #qantas #oneworld #staralliance #skyteam #a350 #vietnambusiness #vietnamtravel

Thanks to the nature of EnterJet, we’re able to access data showing trends for not just our platform, but the private aviation market as a whole. In the month of March 2024, we experienced a further increase in membership applications, up 9.3% MoM following a very strong growth of 25.0% in February. This was balanced with an increase in flight requests, which were up 32% over the month of February. The most popular airport in these requests being Geneva, with an average passenger load of 4. Our dynamic Empty Leg Auction is proving increasingly popular, with one member purchasing four empty legs in the space of 1 hour for their Spring/Summer travels, the first of which they'll be boarding with Zenith Aviation Limited to Morocco in the coming weeks. The most popular aircraft in platform regarding bookings in the month was the Legacy 650. Average trip revenue in February was c. EUR 18,100. We expect strong demand to continue through to May as we head into the high season of summer and welcome more clients and aircraft to the platform seeking the benefits of cost & time saving through EnterJet. Charles Robinson, our CEO, remarks “Another excellent month for EnterJet saw a strong natural increase in membership growth and we expect a surge more similar to February in the weeks to come thanks to a number of unique activations going live. We are starting to see the majority of flight requests arising for the early summer months now, and expect with our increased aircraft supply, that many of our clients, who previously worked with brokers, will enjoy the benefits of seamlessly connecting to the market directly with EnterJet for the high season ahead.” Discover the Difference, Explore EnterJet: enterjet.co 51.5057°N 0.2068°W London - United Kingdom. #EnterJet #TheAviationPlatform #DiscoverTheDifference #Transparency #PrivateAviation #BusinessAviation #Tech #AviationTechnology #AvTech
