CONGRATULATIONS HER EXCELLENCE MADAM PRESIDENT SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN FOR BEING AWARDED HONORARY DOCTORATE IN AVIATION MANAGEMENT FROM KOREAN AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO TANZANIANS? The fact that the President's efforts have been recognised in developing the Aviation industry means the entire state of Tanzania has been recognised in improving the Aviation sector and Madam President being just the representative.This deserves a very being applause to all of us as a state. To those in Aviation industry, now we should expect further efforts to improve the future skies in terms of: 1.Facilitation of passengers and cargo. 2.Improving safety and security 3.Training of personnel on new technology including emerging artificial intelligence 4.Improving passengers services 5.Enhanced coordination between Aviation and tourism stakeholders 6.Enhanced intracordination within Aviation stakeholders to include airlines,groundhandlers,airport operators,Regulated Authority,Government entities et al. This is the right time to bring all stakeholders to discuss and deliberate ways to bring more improvements through various symposia and ensure that the 25% GDP which is contributed by Aviation sector is increased to some levels. We need to see women championing the Aviation sector l as we all understand the pivotal efforts once given the chance. Once again congratulations Madam President.
