Not your ordinary wet Tuesday afternoon in Edinburgh! It was an absolute privilege to host Show Her The Money and panel discussion to a full house at the Dominion Cinema. Thanks to all our guests for making this something quite special. It was not just a film that needed shown, but a blunt message to ignite conversation for action. The Q&A could have gone on for many more hours I’m sure, but in the time we had the vibe and energy was palpable. New connections being made, offers to support each other, a collective murmur heading towards necessary change. What is undeniable is that we need more Catherine Grays! – inspirational personalities that are driven to action change. The film has reached many thousands already, with another 69 cities (increased from 50) to go…with channels to amplify its reach, and a syllabus in creation to take to universities and schools. A systemic challenge, being met head on. Saying nay to the naesayers, and building dreams and ambition #BELIKECATHERINE Delighted to say some of Scotland’s very own ‘Catherines’, our own rockstars, were there too. I know there are many more besides, and all leading voices and champions for change will manage to turn the dial. It will happen. Thank you to an awesome panel Dr Vanessa Collingridge Ana Stewart Evelyn McDonald. Ana Stewart – thank you for being as mad as me to do this. Your endorsement and support means everything. Forever a champion that this is an ‘Us’ problem, it’s not about blame, and all about change and collective action. ✔We need diversity of investment in solutions for people and planet, we can’t miss out on smart scaleable solutions through profound under-representation in founders. All doors need to be open to find the best investment opportunities. ✔We need more female investors; into funds that are ensuring equitable reach to female founders ✔We need to be equitable, fair and accountable in our investment approach. ✔A Diverse entrepreneurial ecosystems that is more innovative and resilient. ✔Closing the funding gap toward gender equality. It sends a powerful message that women's ideas and leadership are valued and necessary for progress. 🌍This is a global challenge. Scotland is big enough to matter, small enough to care – we need to challenge ourselves to prove it. 🙏 Thank you all for coming, and to the cast of organisers and heavy lifters Siobhan M. Hannah Thompson Harry Howarth, CA. Thanks to the Dominion Cinema, Charlie Cameron & Cameron family for looking after us. And Liquid Rooms for providing the sound system. 🙏 SIS Ventures Pathways Forward Pocket Sun SoGal Ventures Dawn Lafreeda Marian Leitner-Waldman (she/her) Diipa Khosla Vicky Pasche Sharon Gless Kelly Ann Winget Emmeline Ventures

It has been a pleasure over the last few weeks to have evolved a plan with Ana Stewart to bring Show Her The Money to Scotland. With many additional work commitments between us, at times we thought it may just be beyond us. Giving ourselves the luxury of 2 weeks to mobilise this, we reached the conclusion it had to happen. We have been blown away with the response in the last 2 days from female founders, investors, universities, and accelerator programmes, keen to come and take part. SIS Ventures and Pathways Forward are delighted to be hosting the exclusive Scottish premiere of Show Her The Money. This multi-award-winning documentary captures the hopes and aspirations of female founders and investors alike and makes clear why diversity in investment is essential for a thriving future. Be part of a unique experience as we screen this powerful documentary, followed by a dynamic panel discussion featuring US film producer and angel investor Catherine Gray, Ana Stewart and others. Yes, yet another May event! But an event with a difference we hope, and to push for continued efforts for change. Fun. Chat. Action.
