Congratulations and thank you, Brig. Gen. Edward ‘Ned’ Bailey, who is retiring after more than 40 years of service to the US Army. Bailey recently relinquished command of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command where he served as commanding general from June 2023 to July 2024. Bailey built a career on being a Soldier's surgeon. He served as a flight surgeon, battalion surgeon, brigade surgeon, division surgeon, command surgeon and has commanded multiple clinics and hospitals. MRDC is the Army’s medical materiel developer, responsible for medical research, development and acquisition. Their expertise in these critical areas helps establish and maintain the capabilities the Army needs to remain ready and lethal on the battlefield. #ForgeTheFuture | #TomorrowIsWorthProtecting
Best wishes for a happy retirement, Brig. Gen. Bailey and best of luck to Command Sgt. Maj. Brunell on his new assignment. Welcome, Maj. Gen. Lodi and Command Sgt. Maj. Dill!
Thank you Sir.
Congrats Ned!
He had a lot of fun performing that “surgery” with a little help from TATRC’s TRON🤖!
