The big game is HERE! What are you more excited about? The game itself? Commercials? Halftime show with Usher? Or Taylor Swift sightings? I can’t believe the amount of distain toward Travis & Taylor’s relationship & the attention she gets during the game. They seem happy so how it anyone else’s business. If you’re a football fan, you should be celebrating her. She’s opening up your sport to a larger audience that may have never cared before. Little girls are not only interested in Taylor but learning the whole game. This new audience is bringing higher TV viewing audiences & revenue streams to the economy. Coming from a marketing standpoint, I would be doing backflips to increase my organic audiences at those rates. I can’t pick between Taylor’s boyfriend or Arizona native golden 49er, Purdy. The growth of advertising has evangelized the effect of experiential and live events. So people have been asking if the $$$ being spent on commercials and ad space is worth it. From my perspective - of course! The ROI can have a lasting impression for weeks after the initial airing, and continue to live on through social media in real-time.
