When you are discharged from Physical Therapy, this is not the end. You are NOT finished building your capacity. Jess was referred to me by one of my Physical Therapist colleagues who works in our clinic. I often work together with the Therapists to provide a continuum of care, building on the capacity they've established. I help people like you move beyond the constraints of Medical Insurance that may limit the number of visits, and often leaves many people at the minimum point of return to activity. When you injure yourself, you were hurt at a level of capacity that you had at that moment. Your capacity to bare load has usually been lessened. Physical Therapy may sometimes only brings you back to the level of capacity you had before the injury. If you're only at the capacity you were prior to injury then the potential for reoccurring injury still might be high. Legislation has recently been introduced and is starting to advance in the Senate that would seek to eliminate anticompetitive practices that hurt patient access to their specialty pharmacy and threaten specialty pharmacy participation in Medicare Part D networks. This legislation would allow patients to be able to choose the specialty pharmacy that they want! Attached is the link below to contact your Senator and ask them for their support!
