Today, on the Fourth of July, we celebrate freedom and a sense of community. As we enjoy fireworks, family, and all of the festivities, reflect on those who've fought for that freedom, as freedom is not free.
I hope you have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!

Disturbing stuff which has originated from a current that has been lurking in #Dublin for a while.
A two step process is needed here:
1) Perpetrators need to be brought to justice, both the leaders and foot soldiers. It’s important to make clear that those who unleashed this madness understand that there is no protection in the “anonymity of the mob”
2) While the application of justice to the rioters is unquestionably important, the underlying social issues that triggered this ugliness need to be investigated and addressed
Hard is it might be to believe, this #FarRight madness is providing “community” to some fringe types. That reality cannot be ignored and #ireland and it’s people need to understand why some will gravitate to mob violence. That linkage must be broken so that something more hopeful can emerge

“We’ll have to remind ourselves of what is needed to bring people back together: community, solidarity, respect, tolerance. We’ll find solace in thanking the Brazilian man and Irish woman who helped stop the Parnell Square attacker.
It’s difficult, but necessary, to do this when – like me – you are furious and aghast over what happened yesterday, and desperately worried about a rise in racism and violence. But I also know that we can’t let what happened yesterday divide us even further.”
Symbols are powerful for business and movements. They become a shorthand for building a loyal community. This goes beyond simple logos and colours, with the best symbols emerging organically from the movement.
The Kenyan flag and protest songs became symbols of hope and unity in the Kenyan Gen-Z protests. These symbols created a strong sense of identity and solidarity among protesters. Chants of "Jesus was a Palestinian" as shoppers tried to do some holiday shopping in Ottawa Canada.
Once again, the below video how these pro-Palestinian/Hamas protesters just make noise even if their catchy slogans and chants make no sense at all! One of their main goals is to take over the world. Start with the Jews/Israel and then the Christians etc. Why chant "Jesus was a Palestinian"? You think it is to foster support from Christians? Nope! Rather, it is part of their larger plan to conquer the world in a rejuvenated modern day crusade! Hamas has made this point numerous times. This is why they go through great efforts to wave the Palestinian flag over the Golden Gate Bridge, the London Bridge and numerous other places. They also have the catchy chant "we are all Palestinian." Really?
Curious to know whether this video and these types of chants bother Christians or not. Regardless of religion, it should be bothersome to any right minded individual that these folks can just harass anyone and their family when out and about trying to have a good time and do some shopping. The below is a more peaceful video than the protest in the Eaton Centre Mall in Toronto on Friday (https://lnkd.in/d5yHT3ia) where protesters threatened police and those shopping in Zara's that they will kill them ("I'll put you 6 feet deep").
As a Jew, it really does not matter to me whether he was Palestinian or not, but this goes to show how far these radicals will go to push their agenda that the Jews have no historic connection to the Land of Israel. I would ask the following questions to these folks (not that I would expect any intelligent response):
(1) Was Jesus a Jew (you may want to check with any Christian you know before you answer that question)? Please provide your sources if you say he was not.
(2) If he was not a Jew, since Islam only began in 610 BCE (not in Palestine/Israel), what religion was Jesus at birth? How about the other "Palestinians" that lived at the time? Please provide a source.
(3) If you agree that he was a Jew, so then you agree that the Jews lived in Israel/Palestine more than 600 years before Islam was founded? If not, please explain and provide a source.
(4) Was the land where he was born called "Palestine" at the time or Judea/Israel? Again, what is your source for that?
Thanks again Greta Yulish

Hey, Canadian Friends!
How're the Christmas preparations going for you? This festive season is a time for joy, family time, delightful shopping, and creating a warm atmosphere with beautiful decorations. It's a special time for children to have much fun and enjoy the excitement of receiving presents.
I'm curious about anti-Israel protesters and their impact on your Christmas celebrations. Why would you let them so rudely disrupt your Christmas, terrify your children? Do they know that Christmas isn't a Jewish holiday? What's the point they are making here?
My point is, your children deserve a #HateFreeChristmas, and so do you.
