Friday Ad Breakdown🔥 Concept: 'Us vs Them' Angle: Comparing our product with a competitor. This ad shines by directly contrasting our product against others, emphasizing key benefits (like "12g protein vs 1g"). 📸 Visually, it's more vibrant, making our product not just superior in specs but also in appeal. It's an educational yet simple showcase, helping customers easily understand why our product is the top choice.

This piece from WIRED best explains what school officials around the world are up against when it comes to keeping their students & staffers safe from vaping activities. "Almost exclusively manufactured in China, the vapes are colorful and come in eye-catching metallic finishes, squishy silicone textures, and rounded shapes that fit comfortably in a person’s hand. But what really sets them apart are LCD screens, which make the devices even more harmful for the environment than normal disposable vapes. And like the vast majority of all e-cigarettes available in stores, they are technically illegal and haven’t been approved for sale by the US Food and Drug Administration....These so-called smart vapes are the product of an innovation boom taking place in China’s $28 billion e-cigarette export industry. It was spurred, in part, by the United States’ lax enforcement of nicotine regulations." Fortunately, there are resources such as Soter Technologies' #FlySense vaping detection devices, which notify school officials - in real time - when vaping (and/or bullying) is taking place in areas such as restrooms where recording devices are not an option due to privacy issues. ★ Derek Peterson ★ #novaping #vapinginschools #stopthevape

Logistics - Operations & Supply Chain Management | Where logistics meets strategy, and efficiency meets innovation
📌 Why Anti-Counterfeiting is Crucial in Supply Chain Management: Protecting Your Brand and Consumers 📌 1️⃣ Product Safety: Counterfeit products can be made with hazardous materials, causing harm to consumers. Anti-counterfeiting measures help ensure that only genuine products reach the market. 2️⃣ Brand Reputation: Counterfeit products can damage a company's reputation and erode customer trust. Effective anti-counterfeiting strategies help maintain brand integrity. 3️⃣ Financial Losses: Counterfeit products can result in significant financial losses for companies due to lost sales, reduced profit margins, and legal costs. 4️⃣ Supply Chain Disruption: Counterfeit products can disrupt supply chains by diverting authentic products, causing inventory management issues, and affecting production schedules. 💡Practices for Anti-Counterfeiting - Develop a Counterfeiting Prevention Plan: Establish a comprehensive plan that outlines strategies for preventing counterfeiting and responding to incidents. - Conduct Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits of suppliers, logistics providers, and warehouses to identify potential vulnerabilities. - Train Employees: Train employees on anti-counterfeiting procedures and protocols. - Monitor Online/ Offline Marketplaces: Monitor marketplaces for counterfeit products and take action against sellers who engage in counterfeiting activities. - Stay Informed: Stay informed about the latest trends and methods used by counterfeiters to stay ahead of the threat. 👉 At Bayer, we take the fight against counterfeiting very seriously. We understand that counterfeit products can pose serious health and safety risks to our customers, damage our brand reputation, and result in financial losses. That's why we're committed to implementing robust anti-counterfeiting measures throughout our supply chain. From track-and-trace technologies to secure packaging and labeling, we're working to ensure that only genuine Bayer products reach the market. We're also collaborating with suppliers, logistics providers, and law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices. Bayer has developed a highly reliable, sophisticated and interactive safety feature for its products, which is likewise easy to use for our customers- “Bayer Safety Seal”.

a trove of tobacco advertising from the (distant) past, now seemingly foreign with today's marketing regulations. tobacco ads even from the 1860s, as manufacturing processes and tobacco agriculture were expanding. political themes and artistic styles also changed with advertising through the decades. https://lnkd.in/gtefAi9A see also, the collection of tobacco advertising at stanford: https://lnkd.in/gghiTX3k which also includes links to modern vaping advertising.

"What if you could inhale some delicious live rosin directly from the alien's nostrils?" I love it when I get clients who have vivid imaginations. Not all ideas can make it into production but I like to start the creative process with no limitations. For me, when you design things with constraints in mind, you typically end up with a product that has no identity. When I went to MJ Biz Con this past November, I was pretty shocked to see how popular all in ones have gotten and how they all looked pretty much the same and came in 3 main flavors. There are the tubular shaped ones. Then there are the wafer shaped ones. Then there are the boxed shaped ones. I wouldn't say that there is anything intrinsically wrong with these form factors but as a consumer, I want something that works good, is reliable and I'd like it to look really cool too. I know so many excellent extract artists but the truth is, it is really hard to tell how good their oil is by simply looking at it. I believe that if you have the ability to create top quality oil, then having a unique device so that it gets noticed is of utmost importance. There are three main ways people select cannabis products: 1. They already know what product and brand that they want. 2. They ask the budtender for a suggestion. 3. They look at the shelf and choose what is appealing to them. Bullet points one and two can be out of your control but bullet point 3 is something that you have full control over. If you are a brand that is currently evaluating vape hardware, either 510 carts or all in ones, I'd love to know your thoughts on what I just wrote and if you are in the process of evaluating vape hardware and have any questions, please feel free to drop a comment below.

We did it again.🫢 Today we ran the second part of our experiment. It consisted in learning more about the: 👸 Premium 🆙 Functional 🌱 Healthy … benefits of chocolate and how they influence the buying decisions. Tomorrow we’ll be back on the field with Jason Boutte to wrap up this marketing experiment. 🚭ELIMINATE CIGARETTES This is the mission of JUUL. The startup was founded in 2017 in San Francisco by Adam Bowen and James Monzis, both Stanford graduates. Already in 2018, they held 70% of the market share! The company hired people from Apple, Uber, and Google. Everyone wanted to work with JUUL. They measured their success not only in terms of profit but also in terms of reduced cigarette sales. However, from its existence, JUUL threw a Molotov cocktail at cigarette manufacturers by involving young people in the marketing campaign. And so the problems began, with dire consequences... ❓How do you create a product that will change an entire industry? ❓What do you need to launch viral marketing? ❓Why did a company with such a noble mission become a child killer? 🎬 The perfect success story and the rapid fall are reflected in the new documentary series Vape Fever: The Rise and Fall of JUUL on Netflix. ‼️My top 10 takeaways from the movie: 1. Don't wait for the perfect product to enter the market. Use the basic principle of Silicon Valley "Fuck it, ship it!". 2. Investors are not ready to subscribe to a successful product. They are interested in a large project of global significance. 3. People buy what is addictive. 4. Launching a marketing campaign is the most critical factor in the existence of an early-stage startup. 5. If you don't spend as much on marketing as you do on development, you are wasting your money on development! 6. Interestingly, discover your product just like Red Bull did. 7. Selling a lifestyle is the most effective way to sell a product! 8. We didn't want to make the best cigarette; our goal is to change the smoking experience! 9. We wanted to become the iPhone among cigarettes. To create a product that would change the whole industry. 10. Deception spreads faster than Fact-checking. Remember this when PR and marketing start working against you. ☝️I recommend this movie to all startups and entrepreneurs!
