Just hit my 1000th pile in my career – a remarkable bidirectional O-Cell pile! A bidirectional O-Cell pile, unlike traditional piles, is tested using an innovative O-Cell technology. This method involves placing a hydraulic jack within the pile itself, enabling us to load and test the pile in two directions simultaneously. The benefits are substantial: increased accuracy in load testing, reduced need for extensive overlying structures, and more precise data on the pile's performance under stress.
