Head of Mech. Eng. @ Antares | ex-SpaceX Propulsion | Rapid Pragmatic Development
After a rewarding decade at SpaceX, where I've grown from a structural analysis intern to a Principal Propulsion Engineer, it's time for a new adventure. My journey at SpaceX, filled with innovation and the thrill of making human-rated rapidly-reusable rockets a reality, has been nothing short of transformative.
Leaving SpaceX wasn't an easy decision, but my lingering desire to tackle significant challenges in energy production has led me to an exciting opportunity. I'm pleased to share that I will be joining Antares Nuclear as the Head of Mechanical Engineering. Moving from Aerospace to Nuclear may seem unexpected, but the engineering challenges in creating nuclear power are quite similar to those driven by the incredible energy found in a liquid rocket engine. The demand to diversify American energy production has never been stronger, and I believe nuclear should be a large basis of our energy backbone.
At Antares, I look forward to bringing the lessons and skills honed at SpaceX to an industry ripe for innovation. Antares is starting by making nuclear fission microreactors for austere locations—both on earth and for space applications. Starting small and aggressively iterating will be key to rapidly bringing capabilities to national security and commercial applications that simply can’t exist with other energy production methods. Long-term we envision being the operational nuclear experts with a wide portfolio of products across our world and others.
As I close this chapter at SpaceX, a company I hold in the highest regard, I am energized to embark on this new path. This transition is more than a career shift; it is a personal bet on my capabilities and a testament to my confidence in America's potential to lead the world in sustainable energy solutions. I'm grateful for the experiences at SpaceX and excited to contribute to the energy landscape in a new and meaningful way.
We’ve raised $8M in funding thus far and are actively looking to expand our team—if you’re interested in joining the American energy revolution, please visit our website or message me here!

Insanely proud of and massive congrats to the entire SpaceX team for this morning’s #Starship launch!! The most powerful rocket ever built just successfully left the pad in Starbase, TX and achieved a series of important milestones before a “rapid unscheduled disassembly” over the Gulf of Mexico. Cannot WAIT for flight test #2 soon—to the Moon, Mars, and Beyond!
Our recovery teams are responsible for operating the recovery vessels, securing and recovering the Falcon 9 booster, and everything else required to make those operations possible. The recovery operations for today’s launch of NASA’s CRS-27 mission to the International Space Station are being managed by an all-female crew. We believe this to be a first for any kind of operation like this in a historically male-dominated industry and the first of many more to come.
Congratulations to our team in Starbase Texas!
This was a big step forward on our way to Mars.
