A little late today after spending last evening at ithink financial amphitheatre watching the Red Hot🌶️Chili Peppers until the very end of the concert. It's been 32 years since I saw them last at Lollapalooza 1992 - Miami just a few days before Hurricane Andrew came ashore. (And - side note- my husband was also there, but we hadn't met yet.😃) The Red Hot🌶️ Chili Peppers are a symbol of life lessons that are invaluable for your success and growth. There is so much freedom when you stop taking things personally. If someone does not like you that's fine. They are judging you? So what? They want to stay away from you? okay bye.... We spend too much time worrying about that. We fail to realise the real sense of freedom is when you learn that someone's opinion is not really any of your business. Not everyone will agree with you, not everyone will like you because it's their theory. It serves as a commentary on the multifaceted nature of societal dynamics, highlighting the imperative need for a delicate balance between personal desires and the well-being of the collective. Observed behaviours, rooted in a lack of empathy and a penchant for self-interest, have far-reaching consequences on the fabric of our society - Especially in the workplace. When you look closely, it becomes evident that the health of our communal bonds hinges upon a collective introspection that prompts us to reassess our priorities. My advice, based on working in many different companies, and many different sectors: don't ask someone in your team to do something that you would not be prepared to do yourself.
