Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Gleaning from this biblical text two things stand out Time and Chance Time stands for preparation. It is the act or process of getting reading for something or making something ready. The training we give ourselves, how we build our competencies, trademark and brand. The skills we harness. Chance on the other side represents Opportunities. It is often said preparation meets opportunity . Opportunity is the time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. Have a fruitful week

New circumstances create new challenges that result in the needing to learn new skills, knowledge and growth of you. People who are forever faced with new circumstances can be described as people who do not live in the comfort zone. Life should never stop shaping or growing you and never for as long as you are alive should you stop learning new knowledge, new skills, getting new life experiences.

This is a important truth.

Each day beings new opportunities Each new day presents an opportunity to start fresh and make positive changes. Everyday is a second chance. Are there goals you have set and you have always been waiting and wanting to start, each day presents you with the opportunity to start it up. But while each new day is an opportunity, you should grab it as it comes, because time is fleeting and does not wait for anyone. Every day provides us with the chance to approach life with a renewed perspective. By understanding the experiences of each day, we can learn from them and use that knowledge to embark on a fresh start, making the most of the opportunities ahead.

Embracing the Art of Trying: My Greatest Achievement In life, we all have achievements that make us proud – whether it's earning a degree, being a supportive sibling, excelling in sports, or simply spreading kindness. Each of these moments holds its own significance, but when asked about my greatest achievement, I find it's not about any single event. Instead, it's about something deeper – my willingness to try new things. From stepping onto the track field in high school to applying for my first job, I've always been willing to take risks. Even when faced with uncertainty or fear of failure, I've embraced the challenge. It's through these experiences that I've learned the importance of pushing beyond my comfort zone and embracing the unknown. Failure isn't something to be feared but rather a chance to learn and grow. Each setback has taught me valuable lessons and helped me become stronger and more resilient. Through it all, my willingness to try has been my guiding light, propelling me forward and opening doors to new opportunities. So, while I may not have a single standout achievement, I'm proud of my willingness to try. It's this attitude that continues to shape my journey, inspiring me to chase my dreams and embrace life's adventures with courage and determination. I don't believe in myself! Yes !! There have been Times when : I doubted my abilities, but surprisingly I managed to succeed. I denied myself for new experience, but ended up enjoying those moments. I self-doubted initially, but later found myself receiving trophies. I disliked my habits the most, but observed people liked it the most. I missed opportunities, but regretted later I hadn't grabbed them. My way to deal with such moments: I reminded myself during such moments. These are just challenging moments and I need not believe in my self-doubt. It helped me to Overcame overthinking, negative self image, comparison, Negative self -talk. And fills me enthusiasm and provides me fresh experiences that last a life time. Each of these moments is an Opportunity to build resilience and confidence. The question I can't quite get my head around 🫣 "What do you enjoy doing the most in your job?" It's a common inquiry, often coming from a place of genuine curiosity about our passions and strengths. But here's why I sometimes struggle with it: The Labelling Effect: You see, this question can sometimes make us feel like our answer defines us. "Oh, they love XYZ the most, so that must be their specialty." In reality, we're multifaceted, with a broad range of interests and skills and are still willing to learn, which brings me on to... The Journey of Exploration 👇🏼 Our professional journeys aren't always a straight road. We find joy in various aspects of our work, and that's a beautiful thing. But it doesn't mean we're tied to a single path forever. While sharing our favourite parts is great, it shouldn't imply that's the only thing we excel at or want to pursue. We're here to embrace new opportunities, grow, and continuously expand our skill sets. We're defined by our passion, our open-mindedness, and our enthusiasm for new challenges.
