Anna Kouril’s Post

I am excited to share that in May I received my Master’s of Science Degree from New York Medical College. I completed a Literature Review titled Metabolic Syndrome in the Scope of Atrial Fibrillation for fulfillment of my degree requirements. The review aimed to elucidate the current understanding and research results of each commonality of atrial fibrillation and metabolic syndrome. The prevention and available treatment options were then discussed. Through this project I was able to complete an in-depth exploration and an extensive analysis of scientific literature. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of writing scientifically and learning about cardiology! I would like to express my profound gratitude to my advisors, teachers, and family for their endless support and guidance. I am looking forward to pursuing a career in medical research and biotechnology!
