Centennial High School Director of Bands, Scott Hook, has won the prestigious Manilow Music Project award! The Manilow Music Project supports music education by donating thousands of instruments to schools across the nation and offering scholarships to young musicians. In honor of his achievement, legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow is awarding Mr. Hook a $5,000 cash prize and $5,000 in Manilow Bucks for new classroom instruments. A family friend stepped up, and two more amazing community members joined in too! 📖 Our literacy teacher benefits from two incredible regular volunteers who dedicate their time each week to help students improve their reading and literacy skills. ❤️Our library thrives thanks to a dedicated volunteer who is also the mother of one of our special education teachers!
