What lovely news I got today. I just noticed I got a badge for Top Mentoring Voice. That’s nice. For many, the golden voice always sparkles questions about LinkedIn criteria to distribute those, etc., etc. As for everything in life, some like it, and others do not really. But for me, this is more than a badge. It’s a testament to how consistency and focus are critical drivers for whatever you decide to do. I’ve been chasing this bad boy for almost two months. I started collaborating, got warmer, got colder, And never really created time for it. Fifteen days ago, when I joined Ship 30, I decided to bring the habit of collaborating on those articles. And I collaborated in basically all new articles. (Even when I was not in a mood) BANG! That’s the outcome. I did it in 15 days what I’ve procrastinated on doing in two months. Stop finding time. Start creating it. PS: what are you doing consistently lately?

Sometimes I wonder if everything I give people does make any difference. And every time I get that kind of feedback, I push myself to do more, better, smarter, more useful things. Because I see that it has a positive influence on others 💪 I've been a facilitator for 10 years now 😱 But during the last couple of months, by working with more groups, from different companies at the same time I saw really vividly that: 🤓 there is no one-size-fits-all; every leader, individual, team has different needs. 👩🏫 there are more than 3 learning preferences; as a facilitator I need to constantly observe, tailor and check with the group / individuals if the ways of learning I give them are adequate. 🔥 we all have different learning experiences from the past; some of them are deeply rooted from the schooling system we've gone through, some of them are connected with poor workshops delivered before. My job is to show that it can look differently. And I do it every day, try to live more and more what Maggie Jablonska told me a while ago: it's not about you, it's about them 🙏 And you, what do you need the most to learn efficiently with the lasting results? 🤔

💭 Inspiring... A really busy week comes to an end. I had my trainer newbies in our headquarter, doing their onboarding and the never expected came: Step back, reflect: what is actually training? How training actually gets effective and senseful? 💥 It is always so precious to me to see people in the corporate world mindblowing in front of me, who experience how we most of time are stucked in useless presentations, hours and hours of blabla and then wondering that the message did not arrive. Then I always hear: ripetition is key! But is it actually effective to repeat blabla without connecting, without reason for the listener, without letting the participant actually understand and relate it to them? 🤔 To assure learning reflect on how you teach! How you bring your message over? Let the participants come back to be small kids: involve them, let them explore, discover and find their own words. As kids they will understand, relate, connect, learn and repeat. 💬 "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin
